Maureen Dowd Calls Everyone a Racist...

Par for the course. Here's her Sunday offering, another tour de force of liberal (small 'l' intentional) crapspeak.

More and more I am convinced that Maureen Dowd is not a journalist, but rather a very bitter life support system for a vagina that no one wants anymore.

South Carolina has a long list of dignitaries that includes Lauren Caitlin Upton (Miss Teen USA 2007 pageant contestant), Board of Education Chair, Kristin Maguire, Governor (and avid Appalachian hiker), Mark Sanford and now Joe “the hater not a debater” Wilson or the “screamer not the dreamer” as others have dubbed him. I did enjoy him cut and running through his apology, which only goes to show that he stands for nothing. He is just another good old boy where in the morning these married men preach to you that there should be prayer in our schools and in the evening they are on their cell phones setting up a date with their other women on the side, hypocrisy has been bred in. I am not surprised that he felt compel to yell like he was at some Friday night game. So long Joey, you too will be seeing the unemployment lines.

I would wager that Mr. Wilson actually prospers in the near future, Paul. Not disappears as you would hope.

Got an axe to grind with southerners? I get the impression you have an issue with with a certain breed of southerner (and much of that is stereotype). Much like you might probably use the argument that "Van Jones is not representative of all black folks", I can assure you that Sanford is not exactly respresentative of all white ones...nor is he of conservatives, in general. The reason conservatives always get tagged, badly, with the hypocrisy label is because a) those who screw up actually deserve it, b) their own side tags them first and hardest, and, c)the media/political shamelessly absolves it's own hypocrites without much fuss, so long as they reflexively blame a republican for their travails (see The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy), and then promptly forgets or glosses over their sins.

I call people out on hypocrisy on this site allt he time (six years of posts for you to check here - search on Sanford,Craig,Foley, DeLay, et. al. Take note of my own issues/arguments with many conservatives, as well). I do so regardless of political affiliation, and in the name of fairness.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to reply.

Matt
