The Modern Liberal's Torrid Sado-Masochistic Relationship with Lies

Niccolo Machiavelli once postulated (paraphrased) that politics could not be conducted without The Lie. That while force was not always necessary to the business of politics, one could not truly practice the art with any great skill or subtlety without a healthy dose of fraud. Machiavelli justified -- or at least rationalized -- the Lie as an unavoidable accessory to power, for in order to exercise it over the Masses it is often necessary to make use of them -- their desires, fears, aspirations, hatreds, opinions -- and if the Masses were ever to discover that they were being used in this fashion, they would revolt.

The Lie is necessary; it serves to hide one's true motives from the people over whom one wields power. Machiavelli understood that achieving power means lying and justified it, perversely, as a matter of honesty. The Ruler who was honest about his intentions (always to himself) could conduct public affairs in a much more straightforward, more efficient manner. For his ultimate goal is not, strictly-speaking, always the most good for the most people, but rather to continue in power, for no one accepts or takes power with the intention of voluntarily giving it up.

This is the genesis of the old saying that "The Ends Justify The Means".

The (liberal's) Rejection of Religion...

Before I begin on this subject, I wish it to be known that I am not a godly person. Far from it. I do not hold to many traditional notions of Christianity, finding in them less a way of life than I usually interpret them as a consequence of mythology and long-useless tradition: the Pope sits on the Vatican Hill in Rome much as the Roman Pontifex Rex of yore did, a simple figurehead, to whom is attached much ceremony, superstition, and attribution of sacredness that is otherwise unwarranted -- as was true of his Roman prototype 1,000 years before.

The Archbishop of Canterbury is less religious man than politician. This is obvious if one reads the history of England with a critical eye, and if one takes note that the modern Archbishop has, for all intents and purposes, no bishopric -- the pews are empty, the English non-conformists never took the COE seriously, and the good Anglican simply selects which bits of dogmatic flotsam and jetsam best fit their version of bastardized Christianity (mostly the ones where they get to rationalize what would once have been considered sinful) --  and he becomes one more symbolic anachronism, a Man simply going through the motions of pomp and circumstance, in keeping with traditions that most people cannot recall the origins of. Nor do they care to recall.

Islam is obviously not a religion; it is a military code, at best, and at worst, it is a rationalization of the Nomadic Code of the Arabian Desert -- do unto others before they do unto you, and if they manage to do first, then whine like a bitch about what a victim you are while plotting your sneaky-ass-revenge-from-behind-because-you-have-no-balls. If Islam is anything, it is, at heart, a "me-too" religion; if the Jews can consider themselves chosen, and the Christians can be considered the only ones worthy of "saving", then we'll just co-opt their religion and reserve the same chauvinism for ourselves.

My apologies for such a long absence. I normally would not have gone this long without making a post of any kind, but truth be told, I'm in a phase where I could really give a shit.
Sure, I could have posted 500 of the Obama/Pelosi/Liberals/Feminists/Muslims-Are-Stupid-type articles over the last month and a half. Heck, I can do that in my sleep. The problem is that it gets repetitive. One can only make the same self-obvious statements (well, to anyone with a pulse and a baboon-level IQ, that is) before one begins to feel as if there is no point to it. That is to say, there is no point in making the same points.

My, how far we have come! It seems like only yesterday (I believe it was 2003) when this meme began here on this site with a short list of 50 Reasons Why Liberals Suck, and the last decade has proven -- once again -- that liberalism (small 'l' intentional) is the gift that just keeps on giving.

Like AIDS.

This new fusillade of anti-Libtard observations was prompted by a website (which shall remain nameless, because it's a virtual internet sewer of stupidity) that re-posted one of the earlier iterations of it without my permission nor a back-link, violating, at the very least, internet etiquette rules, which resulted in my mailbox being jammed with angry and derisive e-mails from people who are happy to tell you that while they appreciate and wish to defend Free Speech, what I've posted equates to a permission slip for any crackpot to kill a liberal on sight, and as such, should be condemned as Hate Speech for having the potential to incite violence.

You can read the last iteration of this list here. For now, the new-and-improved list has been bolstered by the addition of 20 new maxims about liberals and their wrong-headed policies. Without further ado, here are 145 reasons Why Liberals Suck.

The GROFT Principle...

Back in the days when I was a young computer operator, I had a supervisor who, for lack of a better term, was a southern redneck. I mean a real hillbilly plowboy, a tobacco-chewin’, country-music singin’, flannel-wearin’, swaggerin’ farmboy from the inbred regions of South Carolina (which covers about 96% of the state). Why, he was so Southern he pissed moonshine and crapped fried chicken.

But that’s beside the point. In retrospect, nearly 30 years later he turns out to have been one of the smartest people I have ever met. He typically would use a colorful turn of phrase to get a point across (“Why, that boy looks as nervous as a whore in church…”, “That generator ain’t turnin’ out enough power to pull a greasy string from a whore’s ass…”. Harry was obsessed with whores, but this was how he talked), but that was only ever a means to an end. He knew that if you wanted people to remember something, you had to give it them in a way that they would remember it -- so that it would stick.

Orwell Never Sleeps...

To Quote Orwell:

"He who controls the Past, controls the Future. He who controls the Present controls the Past."

Liberals understand history very well. They just have a different view as to how it is to be used. While Conservatives see history as something solid and immutable which is useful in teaching lessons, the Liberal sees history as a lump of clay which can be reshaped and remolded many times over, and always, for a political purpose.

The Liberal must ALWAYS seek to re-write history. As an example: Barack Obama said, thousands of documented times, that if you liked your health plan and doctor, you could keep them under Obamacare. It was necessary to tell this lie in order to assuage public fear of a government takeover of health care (a political motive).

Now, when we know the truth, revisionist history kicks in: What Obama REALLY said, say the Libs, is that you could keep your old plan and doctor unless they failed to adopt the public mandates of the ACA, which they knew all along were poison pills. Note the rewriting of history before your very eyes: there was a nuance added three years after the fact, and they insist that it was always there, in plain sight.

Now, the fact that a bald-faced lie was told and the liar was caught doesn't mean anything, in a historical sense, to your average Libtard. They have been trained (indoctrinated) in the public schools and universities, and conditioned by the mass media, to forget that which is inconvenient immediately and then to deny it ever existed (Orwell called this Doublethink), and so far as the true believers and idiots are concerned, the lie will pass into historical truth, if you repeat it enough to numb what's left of their tiny little minds.

History exists in only two places, Orwell said -- in written records and in human memories. Academics, who will one day write the history of this time, are predominantly leftard, and so they will most likely write the leftard (politically-acceptable) version of history that shows them to have been right and prescient. The modern media (which is unapologetically leftist) controls minds -- no one in this country is ever away from the reach of leftist propaganda for more than a few hours, at most, per day -- shapes opinion, memory, tastes, and thought patterns on a daily basis, and shares much the same view as the academics.

And the good little liberal wanders about in a stupor, as he has been failed by both academics and media who have neglected to do their primary job of giving him unbiased education and information to help him make his choices, has the short-term memory of a garden slug.

Green is For the Little People...

I meant to write about this a week or so ago, but didn't get around to it.

It's a story about one of them Silicon Valley douchebags who has more money than common sense. Money he probably got for providing the Obama Administration with my e-mails and phone records, and from selling shares of online companies that aren't worth the paper they're printed on.

Anyways, it seems that this doofus, who is what one might consider one of those extreme environMENTALists, did something which, quite frankly, is not all that shocking, but is indicative of the real thought processes behind most people who push a Green Agenda.

See, this asshole spent a few million bucks to have a section of Redwood Forest bulldozed, just so that he could have the Dungeons&Dragons-themed wedding the nerdy little fuck probably always wanted.

EnvironMENTALism isn't about saving Mother Gaia: it's about a bunch of self-selected elites getting to rape the planet in the name of saving it at everyone else's expense, and about telling others how they should live. In this guy's world, it's probably quite okay to destroy a two-thousand year old redwood to erect a mock up of Tintagel so you can play Knights of the Round Table on your wedding day, so long as you gave to the Audubon Society, Greenpeace, and the Obama campaign. What counts is your intent, not your actions.

The Catholic Church used to operate this way. They called it an indulgence, in which a rich man's money bought him forgiveness for his mortal sins.

The funny part about the modern version, is that the very people who behave like this probably consider the Catholic Church to be the most corrupt organization that ever existed.

Yes, Liberals ARE Whining Pussies...

An excellent blog post from Steve Sailer about why it is Liberals can never win an argument on facts, reason, and logic, and instead resort to tears and name calling.

Mostly, it's because they're all  little crybaby, bed-wetting, thumb-sucking momma's boys who wear purty pink panties that have a tendency to get bunched every five minutes. It's the legacy of feminism and multi-culturalism that the once- Male Virtues of Free Thinking and Intellectual Acuity have been downgraded, and our political discourse has suffered greatly for it.

It's the primary reason why we got saddled with Nancy Pelosis, Hillary Clintons, Debbie Wasserman-Schultzes, and Barack Obamas, because to tell the indisputable truth about anything is to hurt someone's feelings, and therefore, make any salient point null-and-void in the minds of the truly brain dead.

This helps explain a lot of what has been happening in American society and politics for the last 30 years, at least.

I would like to dedicate this screed to all of you complete and utter morons out there who did the unthinkable, and pulled the lever for one Barack Hussein Obama some ten days ago. I truly wish you all the worst kind of inhuman suffering these next four years, and that, like a Biblical curse, the sin you have committed is passed on from father to son, mother to daughter, and so on, indefinitely.

Yes, that is mean. Yes, it's even cruel to wish that bad things should happen to complete strangers, who, for all I know, happen to be fine and decent people who just made a choice I happen to disagree with. But then again, it's terribly apropos given the sense of smug satisfaction and the complete douchbaggery with which the average Obama voter in these parts has behaved. I'll get to some individual examples in just a minute, but first, I want to try to explain to you assholes just what it is you have accomplished, because most of you seem clueless about the effects your vote will have beyond "I'm gettin' _______ for free!", and "Suck on that,.Whitey!".

Why Obama Disappointed...

It’s no secret as to why Obama disappoints Republicans and Conservatives, obviously. The constant drumbeat of socialism makes the Obama Administration naturally repugnant to those who, at the very least, still pretend to pay lip service to the founding principles of our Great Republic, if only because they are currently salivating at the prospect of being able to wield the levers of government in similar fashion, for the benefit of their friends, again, too.

(It is my contention that no sooner than Obama is removed from power, that the very next, necessary step in cleaning up our national mess is to get rid of the entrenched Republican establishment in Congress, replacing it with actual republicans and conservatives instead of  white-shirted, red-tied apparatchiks. Why Obama Needs To Go...

Despite the fact that we’re a nation obsessed with Political Correctness to the point where we can’t even tell ourselves self-evident truths anymore, I need to say some things, and don’t give a crap about the possible response. Out loud, and with frequency. If they aren’t said, then we, as a nation, are doomed to continue in a flaming downward spiral that can only end badly; like the other great nations and empires of old, we will soon be relegated to relic status, only fit to be remembered, if at all, in that bored-schoolchildren-touring-a-museum way.

The first thing that needs to be said is that Barack Obama, the Great Half-White Dope, the Vacationer-in-Chief, the manifestation of Hope and Change divorced from reason and logic, needs to be shown the door.

What I See at the DNC...

Lots of whining, and continuous talk of vaginas, basically.

Just a few quick points before I go into (sordid) detail:

1. You have to wonder at the true motivations and intentions of a party that can't even answer a straight question about it's platform. Apparently, the DNC has erased all references to God in it's platform, and all references of Jerusalem as the capital of a Jewish State. Fair enough: on the one hand, I don't mind removing the word 'God' since God does not exist, and because it is a true reflection of the beliefs of a majority of democrats: even the so-called "reverends" who lead the rear-guard of the Civil Rights era apparently don't take the Bible literally, or at best, use it to justify things and ideas that it most certainly doesn't justify.

Because No One Offered Them Money and Drugs, That's Why...

The money quote on how "organizers" are having trouble recruiting protesters for this week's DNC:

“The issue is important because minorities, the homeless, unemployed and others can lend credibility to protest groups sometimes led by college students and people with middle-class backgrounds.” 

And there you go. That, in a nutshell, describes most of this left-wing organizing bullshit. It's all you ever needed to know about Occupy _________ and all the rest of them. It's white Libtards going through the motions to gain "credibility" within their peer group...or maybe some extra credit in Professor Douchebag's Sociology class.

Some probably do it just to pad their resumes. It looks bad when all you can put there is "University of _______, 2004-2012, BS Anonymous, Inebriated Group Sex, AS Holistic Skateboarding and Hackysack".

BTW, someone needs a grammar checker at the Washington Times: ”...only three protesters have been made arrested?” Who wrote and edited that? A Haitian Immigrant? A Columbia J-school graduate?

A Conservative Blog? Humbug!

One of the really neat things about Blogger is that Google has provided the writer with a cool bunch of fairly basic, but often interesting, analytic tools which can be used to track certain aspects of your blogs’ audience.

One of these is the “Traffic Sources” tool that gives you some information about how people managed to find you. There is a subsection of this analytic which is called “search terms” which details how many readers were directed your way by using various search terms within their web browser. Very often, people will enter a rather vague or strange search term, for example, the ever popular “Leslie Marshall Tits”, and lo and behold! They wind up finding the Lunatic’s Asylum!

Now, I have never written about Leslie’s hooters in a real sense, except in response to the apparently mammary-obsessed idiot who keeps coming here in the hopes, one would think, of seeing an image or perhaps reading a fascinating description of Leslie’s Sweatermeat, only to leave woefully disappointed.
