What Rachel Jeantel Means to America...

The misshapen lump of flesh to the left is one Rachel Jeantel, who, according to most media reports, is the 'star' witness in the murder case against George Zimmerman, the man accused of having stalked and murdered a young black kid in Florida.

The Trayvon Martin Case has caused a great deal of  tumultuous debate in America, most of it of the stupid sort. What else could one expect? For the case is a microcosm, in many ways, of just what is wrong with many aspects of modern life in this country. Racial hatred, an irresponsible press, opportunistic 'Civil Rights' figures, ready-to-jump-on-bandwagons politicians, overeager prosecutors, a vastly misinformed citizenry, a legal system which creaks under the weight of it's own obsession with minutiae...

And then there's Miss Jeantel.

Things I Wish I Could Say Out Loud, Part One...

Ah, how one longs for the good old days, when seemingly no subject was considered taboo, and one could voice one's opinion without having half the room you're in cringe and go "ewwww!'.

I was thinking of this not too long ago, after the death of actress Jean Stapleton was announced. For those of  you who were born into the permanently puckered rectum version of this world (that would be post-Clinton Administration), Ms. Stapleton gained lasting fame and American-icon status as Edith Bunker, the long-suffering, dingbat-but-possessed-of-a-simple-wisdom bride of one Archie Bunker on television's All in the Family.

For those of you who believe television history began and ended with the first episode of Survivor, All in the Family was a situation comedy that aired in the early 1970's and ran into the 1980's which was, to put it mildly, grossly politically incorrect by today's anal-retentive standards. Which means that no one could even think of making All in the Family in this day-and-age. Anyone who tried would be shot outside the television producer's office for even suggesting it.

Something To Keep Y'All Busy...

I will be quite busy for the next few days, and shall not be stopping in to blog. I know...it's sad, ain't it? There's a few familial obligations to attend to this weekend, and a whole lot of 'networking' to be done at a few so-called Job Fairs, which are more like cattle calls for gray-haired, middle-aged male PhD's and MBA's who are apparently so desperate for a job that they'll sink to selling Green Energy door-to-door.

Been there, and done that. Oh, and of the two so-called Job Fairs or Job Seminars that I've been to in the past two weeks, they're all selling the same type of job;

You work on a "commission-based system"  (that is, for free) for a company that is a fly-by-night subsidiary of a Fortune 1000 that doesn't want to hire you because you cost too much -- what with Social Security taxes, unemployment insurance and fucking ObamaCare. Hopefully, you manage to sell whatever bullshit product they're pushing -- it's such a good product that the company doesn't dare send out it's professional, full-time-pay salesmen to do it for fear of taking them away from the actual lucrative products they normally sell -- to at least recoup your bus fare this week while you're "getting the hang of the sales' thing", and in the meantime, the "company" is either sold without a word, the government-financing runs out, or it goes into bankruptcy, always unexpectedly.

No wonder 30 million people have given up looking for a job.

Anyways, to help keep you entertained for at least a few minutes, I've collected some bits of news and some links for you.to look over. This is all stuff I normally would have blogged about, but for the time constraints and the busy past week, and soon-to-be busier week to come. Enjoy!

Jammie Wearing Fool has moved. Like an idiot, I did not know this. I used to visit JWF just about every day, but then forgot they existed. Which was a big mistake! Visit them today, and have a look-see, or else something seriously bad might happen to your pet Yorkie in the dead of night. Blogroll, belatedly, updated.

Also, it's good to see that Greasywrench has returned to blogging after a long hiatus. You should visit his site, too, if only because you never can quite tell who it was that accidentally-on-purpose cut your brake lines because you didn't. Grease was once an avid supporter of this diseased rant, and this is where I get to pay him off. Go visit.

It goes without saying that if you're STILL not reading Iowahawk regularly then you deserve a big, sloppy tongue kiss from Nancy Pelosi...post her garlic chicken and fried onion luncheon, and only then, after she's licked her own balls as only your dog can. This week's fare is a rib-ticklin' funny-but-sadly-all-too-true Masterpiece of sarcasm and satire.

The American Spectator goes to the Heart of the Sickness Within the Obama Administration. A must-read for those of you who still haven't grapsed the amateurish depravity, or detected the simple-minded, mile-wide Leftoid Fucktard streak in President Odoofus that causes him to go all gay and shit.

John Derbyshire tells the truth about The Establishment Right (and you know who you are, Rich Lowry, and the rest of the frat-boy wing of the conservative movement!). I did not know Derb was ill, and wish him well. I am a big fan from his days at National Review. Between the trust-fund-prep-school Right and the Godbots, this GOP of ours is gonna be royally screwed up one day.

We finish things off, appropriately enough, with a double dose of Professor Hanson. First on just why California is royally screwed if Obama remains in power (as if that wasn't obvious enough?), and then with a classic explanation of why Barack Obama will lose the rhetorical war -- and the election -- to Mitt Romney.

I know there's more that has happened this week, but I'm kinda swamped. Promise that next week I'll get on some things (like the Obama Administration airbrushing the biographies of other Presidents to make their man look like he has clue-fucking-one), and I'll have something to say about snoring...yes, you read that right: Snoring.

See you next week.

UPDATE: Apologies, but on the John Derbyshire thing: you need to read a few of his columns back (and read this here column that started the whole thing) to get the entire gist of it. Derb apparently was denounced by his former "friends" at National Review for...gasp!...speaking his mind on matters of race. Which lead one reader to wonder (paraphrased) "Why do the people at National Review even bother to grovel on questions of race when they will only be called racists, anyway?"

Unfortunately, We're Not Allowed To Shoot Them On Sight

As the three regular readers of this insane screed know, I watch entirely too much television. I usually watch "the good stuff", that is to say, documentaries, History Channel, Fox News, Discovery this-that-and-the-other, and my fave hit series on HBO and stuff (Yay! Game of Thrones is back!).

But ever since I began co-habitating with the lovely Tess Trueheart (a.k.a. my girlfriend) my television viewing habits have been radically altered. For Tess is a devotee of the genre of programming called "Reality Television".

Personally, if this is what reality looks like then something is seriously wrong with America. So wrong, in fact, that one begins to have -- against one's best judgement, too -- feelings that the old-style Progressives (you know, the ones who advocated euthanasia and forced sterilization of "inferior" people?) might just have had a point, after all.

The Presidential Q&A I'd Love To Hear....

The Scene: President Frequent-Flyer-Miles has just hopped off the golf course, and is attending another of those staged-political-event-cum-Nuremberg-rallies of his, this time in the crucial swing state of (insert name of state with large percentage of complete doofuses who voted for this jerkoff the last time around). He is introduced by the local democratic congresscritter with a gusto that is entirely forced, and probably lubricated by at least a fifth of Johnny Walker Black, and enters the room to the sounds of free-malt-liquor-and-skittles-enhanced applause from a crowd of people who wouldn't understand a word he will eventually say if you gave them a continuous, three-week-long Miriam-Webster enema beforehand.

The Lunatic Branches Out...

I have recently been asked to become a guest blogger over at the Insane Asylum. I thank Mr.Chap for this opportunity to display my mental defects to a bigger slice of Amereica, and to a brand-spankin' new audience, vis-a-vis, an African-American audience.

The first installment -- a discussion on the topic of Hate Crimes Legislation -- was posted this morning.

So, scoot on over to the Insane Asylum and look for a new (we hope regular) feature entitled "Affirmative Reaction", where this clueless White Boy dares to boldly go where no Man has gone before, and asks all the Politically Incorrect questions that his unfiltered stupidity brings to mind on the differences in perception on all topics racial.

And then take a good look at everything else on offer at the Insane Asylum, because it's a pretty cool and interesting place all on it's own which deserves more than just a casual visit. You'll be glad that you did.

...And Since We're Talking About Diversity Training...

A few readers want to know just what kind of vile human being I must be in real life to have had so many experiences with Diversity Training (see: passing mention in previous post). They figure I must be the worst sort of racist/sexist beast, and openly wonder how it is that I've ever kept a job if how I write is how I behave in real life.

To begin with, I have been "sent" to Diversity Training four (4) times.

The first time, it was "required" by management as part of a company-wide policy, itself the result of a series of lawsuits. One of those lawsuits was brought about by members of my own staff, who contended that working in our department subjected them to a "hostile working environment" in which minorities were denied access to higher-skilled (and thus higher-paying) jobs, subjected to racist/sexist humor, and otherwise made to feel "uncomfortable". These complaints were directed mostly at higher management, not me, personally, and were presented as a form of "institutional racism" that direct supervisors (like me) were powerless to overcome, even by direct action. Never mind that the plaintiffs were all, almost to a man, routinely late for work, unprofessional, and on the lower end of the competency scale.

The argument was that it was the COMPANY itself that was racist, not the individuals who worked for it (it's difficult to pin anything on an individual in a court of law without evidence, and only hearsay on your side, you see, so you have to attack The Institution), and that the "racist" policies and tendencies of this inanimate, unconscious, ambiguous, amorphous entity have become part of the overall "culture". So, I was sentenced -- along with the 16,000 or so other people who worked there -- to mandatory Diversity Training. It was a 16-hours-over-two-days tour-de-force of absolute bullshit, where the overriding theme was that "You White-Christian-Male-Straight-Guys are the absolute worst excuses for human beings ever documented...but you don't mean to be, really."

If you've never disliked people before, listen to that kind of crap for two days and then you most certainly will be disgusted by just about everyone.

The Second Time, was when I made the mistake of responding to a vile tirade of a female co-worker by getting just as obnoxious as she did. This particular person was infamous for her foul language and off-color humor and peculiarly-sexual comments, especially about how nice my ass looked to her, and what she'd like to do with me if she ever got me alone. She didn't even make any of that a secret; she would often yell it across several rows of cubicles to me, and everyone got a chuckle out of it (especially the gay guys). It was never a problem between us to trade in these heated-one-day/good-natured-the-next/naughty-all-the-time exchanges, but there was always a healthy respect; a recognition that there were, indeed, boundaries that should not be crossed.

Until she came at me one day like a menstrual banshee for some piece of work important to one of her projects that I was going to be, unavoidably, late with. Then the good-natured-foul-mouthed ribbing became a dressing down of my inadequacies as a human being. To which I replied:

"Take it easy, Jean...Don't get your tits in a knot."

Now the woman who openly remarked about my bodily features and sexual desirability was suddenly mortally offended by my reference to hers. In my defense, though, she did have an awesome rack. Anyways, off to an 8-hour "refresher" course in Diversity for me. I only stayed employed because Jean was known to use the foulest, coarsest language, and to comment frequently and loudly on the looks of the men in the office. That cost me a bonus that year, too.

The third experience was another "mandatory" situation; I would have to complete the Diversity Course as a requirement of employment. It didn't matter that I had two previous "Training" sessions; they didn't count so far as XYZ Corp was concerned because it wasn't their Diversity Course. I spent more time in that classroom than I did working there, because it wasn't long after that my contract was cancelled when the project I was hired to work on was no longer considered necessary. That particular session was a laugh riot, because there were several Hispanic employees in the room complaining that they couldn't get promotions because they weren't native English-speakers.

The "instructor" in that cluster-fuck, herself Hispanic, would sometimes have to switch to Spanish in order to explain a concept to someone who couldn't understand it in English. You can't make this shit up.

My final experience with Diversity Training came when I had a black male employee complain to me that he was not considered for a job (I had hired another person, a black woman, no less), and that he felt that in not giving him the job, I was a racist, showing a definite bias against black men (who made up about half of my staff, at that time. None of them got the job, nor complained about it, either). He called me a racist about 17 times during this exchange, and my temper had finally gotten the best of me, so that I blurted out:

"You didn't not get that job because you're black; I didn't give it to you because you're a fucking retard!"

Well, you can't make that kind of remark, even if it happens to be true, so off to Diversity Training for me once again. Once more into the fray of whining people who don't realize just how fucking ridiculous they sound with their petty, and often-unprovable, accusations. Accusations they only make because they're a) encouraged to do so, and b) know they can get away with the worst exaggerations or baseless claims, and c) hope to extort something for nothing by making them.

Black Biases are "Nuanced and Complex"...

Stanley Crouch tries to explain away black homophobia and racism.

Points for effort, Stanley, really. Floyd Mayweather is a complete fucktard and there's no "nuance" to any of that, at all. And Mayweather's stupidity isn't just limited to garden-variety homophobia: he made use of every ethnic sterotype typically attributed to Asians in that attack on Manny. The idea that boxers and rappers are"expected" to behave or think in a certain way is a pretty fucking lame one which does not absolve Mayweather of the sin of stupidity, nor excuse the real problems of Black Racism in modern America.

And really nice try at comparing the often virulent and obnoxious racism of blacks to that which is supposedly prevalent amongst republicans and Tea Partiers. This is why REAL racism never goes away -- despite all the protests and paeans of "Civil Rights leaders", and overpaid hack newspaper columnists -- you can easily condemn it when it comes from Whites, but bend over backwards to excuse it when it originates with Blacks.

Today's racism doesn't come from White America; it's coming from you.

This article is a regurgitation of the usual pablum one usually hears in "Diversity Training";

White racism - bad. Black racism - well, that's a whole 'nuther can o' worms. And understandable -- if you spend several hours wading through therapeutic bullshit.

I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I'm a superior being, or that I don't often use racist terms or racist-sounding speech, but let's get real; if you want to see who's really responsible for racism today, take a look in the mirror, Stanley -- and all the psychobabble in the world can't explain it away.

Mayweather's rant takes all the wind out of the "Black-people-can't-be-racists-because-they-have-no-wealth-or-power" routine, doesn't it? One doesn't need to be rich (although Mayweather probably is), or hold a Senate seat (like Robert Byrd did) to be a racist homophobe, one need only be stupid.

UPDATE: I forgot to add this:

Gay Rights are NOT the "New Civil Right" movement. The cause of Gay Rights is an attempt to have a lifestyle and behaviors, that traditional society finds disgusting and deviant, normalized. The Civil Rights movement was about recognizing the basic humanity of our fellow men, and correcting the wrongs done to African-Americans on the basis of race. The two causes are not comparable.

It's Only Racist When....?

It's a brotha or sistah on the receiving end. Pay attention, Whitey; we don't want to have to explain this to you again.

Quote of the Day: I'm not a racist...I think the White Half of Obama Sucks, Too.

Breitbart,Obama and the Obsession of Race...

T'was only a matter of time before someone made the accusation, but it's especially telling that it should happen to have been made now, in the wake of a scandal that should, once and for all, serve as a lesson to many. I'm paraphrasing it as:

Barack Obama is not Authentically Black.

It's especially damning that this unkind remark should be made by someone who is a legitimate victim of racism, of the politically-concocted kind, but hell, she has an axe to grind.

The charge of not being"authentically Black" is usually the opening gambit in any political battle amongst African-Americans. First you question someones "Blackness" on some sort of invisible scale that Blacks will insist doesn't exist, but which apparently does. Next, someone with some prominence and a following amongst the politically-active black population (wouldn't it be delicious if it were Reverend Wright?)will then ask the question that will be the equivalent of setting off an atom bomb during a spitball fight, and begin the debate in earnest: Is Barack Obama black enough?

It must really suck to be consumed by race in this way, whether you're the NAACP, a Man of the Cloth, or even the President of the United States. The first, self-proclaimed Post-Racial President has been anything but, and his rise has not stopped the Great American Debate on Race -- in fact, it has made it arguably worse. His whole sordid tale is bathed in the light of race; Race has enabled his meteoric rise, and it's about to play a major part in his downfall.

Obama's rise is largely the result of a democratic party which decided, that within it's pantheon of perennial victims, that Race still Trumps Gender, and although I do hate to day this, given the reality of what a desperate American electorate has wrought, Hillary Clinton was, literally, the lesser of three evils, in retrospect, and probably would have been President of the United States if Libtards didn't cream over the prospect of a (half-) black man in the White House. Because it was all, you know, historical (more like hysterical)...and stuff.

We've seen Obama leap to the defense of people of color against the police on many occasions, ranging from the Professor Gates kerfuffle, to the pre-emptive screams of "Racial Profiling!" vis-a-vis an immigration law that hasn't even gone into effect yet, showing a predilection to believe that American society -- and especially it's police forces -- is fundamentally unfair, and that The Law is yet another tool of The Man to oppress the huddled masses.

He's surrounded himself with people who live, breathe, eat, and shit race 24/7/365, and you know it's true, Eric Holder. Americans are supposed to be "cowards" on the subject of race, therefore the Justice Department should take great pains not to prosecute black criminals when the plaintiffs are white. If Obama doesn't actively support Holder in this stupidity, then his silence on the subject speaks louder than any speech.

Hell, the Obama Administration is so race-conscious that it even allows race to play a part in it's economic decisions, which is probably another reason why this Recovery Summer is little more than a hollow slogan; you would expect responsible leadership, based upon sound economic principles, and instead we get another example of the sort of "equality" most Leftards have in store for us.

Now, as to the players in this little morality tale.

Say what you will about how unequivocally stupid this whole Breitbart Affair is. In my opinion, when I saw the "gotcha" tape on FoxNews the other night, it was obvious to me that it had been edited (the giveaway: Sherrod is basically cut off in mid-sentence after the "damning" quote has been uttered), and that for a guy who claims to do it better than the "Mainstream Media", it appears that Breitbart got sloppy, if only because the edited speech dovetailed nicely with his own thought process. Everyone makes mistakes, and all that, but just look at what the results of his were. If that's what "journalism" is supposed to be, and achieve, then I must have missed the memo.

The after-the-fact excuse that Sherrod was not the point of the tape, but that the reaction to what she said was, well, that's just too lame to believe. The secondary defense, made by Ann Coulter last night, that Breitbart was "set up" is also weak; Breitbart got rolled because Breitbart wanted to be roiled. I have no sympathy for him, and he's yet another "Real" conservative hero (because of the ACORN scandal) who was the toast of the town yesterday, and tomorrow he'll be the solitary source that deranged One-percenters will quote incessantly on FreeRepublic.

I'm sorry to see that happen, because I happen to like Big Government, but it would be well-deserved. I hope Breitbart can work harder and get his credibility back.

The NAACP didn't exactly cover itself in glory, either. In a stunning display of almost Three-Stooges like incompetence, the NAACP not only threw one of it's own under the bus when it had evidence to defend her, it was so busy trying to defend itself against charges of racism in it's self-inflicted you''re-more-racist-than-us pissing match with the Tea Party, that it didn't even bother to think about defending Sherrod.

Here, the NAACP's obsession with race has come back to haunt it, too. What sort of credibility do you give that organization in the wake of this scandal, as if it that credibility wasn't already at an all-time low? The organization lives and dies by the premise that it can openly practice all the overt racism it wants to, while accusing it's enemies of being the worst sort of human beings. That strategy has served it well for four decades now, so there was no reason to change it, except that now every activity in the world takes place before a camera. And sensitive to the idea that freely flinging unfounded accusations of racism should be it's own special preserve, the NAACP moved with indecent haste to protect it's turf by rushing to take the"moral high-ground", and expelling what appeared to be a racist in it's midst, as a public-relations move.

Except that they didn't toss out a racist, and any claim to higher morality is now laughable. The NAACP did great harm to a black woman, and went out of it's way to do so, even though it had evidence of her innocence.

The current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is curiously silent. There is a woman publicly wronged, fired by the Department of Agriculture in what was obviously a politically-motivated bit of kabuki theatre, who turns out to be a victim. She tells the story of "political pressure from above" which can only mean someone in the White House is responsible for her firing, and the best Obama can manage to do is to send Tom Vilsack out to fall on his penknife, and Robert Gibbs out to offer a half-assed apology and not answer any questions about what the White House's involvement in the whole sordid affair was.

As of this writing, Barack Obama has not called Sherrod, so far as I know,to offer his personal apology. I rather doubt he ever will. I think he's frightened of the prospect of having to honestly admit mistakes. It's been obvious since Day One: Barack Obama never makes mistakes, Barack Obama never fucks up, Barack Obama never apologizes. Everything is always someone else's fault, every plan would have worked flawlessly if it wasn't for someone else putting up resistance (Republicans, the Rich, Wall Street, George Bush, those who won't "sacrifice", Bitter Gun Clingers, Racists, and so forth). Barack Obama doesn't need to apologize for shit...except for America being mean to Muslim terrorists.

Obama is trapped in the cage of race, too. It consumes his waking thoughts -- hell, it's been the basis for his entire career -- it's at the foundation of all his policies; Health Care, Mortgage Defaults, Cash-for-Clunkers, Automotive Industry takeovers, Financial Reform, Comprehensive Immigration Reform. These were all...ahem...colored by his belief that America needed to be "fundamentally transformed" by a system wherein the wealth would be "spread around". This is simply a form of reverse discrimination dressed up in the golden cloth of "Social Justice", which is a phrase that is supposed to evoke a vision of a higher, nobler purpose, but which just makes me want to vomit.

I Get The Nicest Hate Mail...

...it's usually addressed "Dear Fascist, Homophobe, Right-wing, Racist, Co*cksucker", and gets considerably more vile from there. The typical e-mail usually begins by questioning my sanity (Duh! You did take note of just what this blog is called, didn't you?), and then continues with a litany of pap psychological diagnoses on everything from my toilet training, to my latent homosexual desires. Why, I never knew there were so many budding Freud's out there!

I don't mind it one bit. I'm beyond the point of actually giving a shit what other people think about me. I can't please everyone, so I don't even try to. What you see is what you get; deal with it. If you can show me where I'm wrong, then do so. Until then, I'm right, and I can say whatever I want to. So there.

The funniest part of the entire exercise is that people who seem to consider themselves my intellectual and moral superiors are completely unaware that most decent e-mail programs come with built-in spelling and grammar checkers. It's also a good laugh when someone begins a paragraph of complete and utter Multi-culti drivel with "I learned in my sociology class..."

If you take Sociology, hell, if you are a Sociologist, you're probably a panty-bunched, bed-wetting pussy who's really only interested in finding out why all the other children in school beat the snot out of you daily and took your lunch money. The same way most psychiatrists really only took psychology to find out what was wrong with themselves.

Anywho, it seems that something I wrote over the weekend stung a particular group of mouth-breathing Libtards especially hard; it was about a Washington Post OpEd writer suggesting that there should be a Black Tea Party.

I got just about what you'd expect to get if you had written something like that; most objected to the condescending tone, and a few were really animated about my use of certain"racially-charged" words, like "slave". I do warn people who come here that what you're about to read here will probably offend most decent people, and that I make no apologies for it, at all. I don't have to: this is America. You don't have to agree with me (Hell, I expect most people not to!), and you don't have to like it, but I have every right to say it.

But the biggest rhetorical question I got was "Who do you think you are, telling Black People they can't have their own Tea Party if they want one?" And that's where they lose me.

Where did I say that Blacks can't have their own Tea Party (as if I had that power? If I did, I wouldn't be sitting here writing a blog, I can tell you!)? I merely suggested (in "racially insensitive" language, mind you) that perhaps instead of forming another Tea Party, that more Blacks perhaps give the present one a try, first. That the idea, as postulated in the OpEd, was perhaps...ahem...colored...by the propaganda of the democratic party and the NAACP, in which the attempt is made to paint the Tea Party as a bunch of sheet-wearin' rednecks all set for a necktie party. That charge is patently false; there may be some people within the ranks who actually do think that way, and there are fringe groups that do think that way which have attached themselves to the Tea Party -- in much the same way that Anarchists will show up at Pro-Abortion rallies, or when The Nation of Islam shows up at Peace Protests; wherever there's a crowd that attracts attention, you often get the worst sort showing up who have absolutely no real connection to the thing. They're there for the Press.

The point I was making, perhaps badly (or maybe I should have used smaller, less "racially-charged and insensitive" words?) is that the second you put Black/Italian/Gay/Chinese in front of something, you have fundamentally altered it's nature and intent. The Tea Party, as I understand it (I am not a member) is basically a collection of citizens, from all walks of life and political persuasions, who have gathered under the same banner for a particular purpose which transcends race; they are pissed off about how the Federal Government works, or rather doesn't work. They are sick and tired of a class of politicians which has taken it upon themselves to be the arbiters of all that is good for us, and which has decided that we -- The People -- are of no account when it comes to fundamental questions of how we are to be governed, by whom, to what ultimate purpose, and how it is to be enacted and paid for.

It is a Political Class which has forgotten that their mandate comes from The People, and which increasingly operates under the impression that it can assume more and more power, at greater expense, and at exponentially decreasing levels of efficacy, as it sees fit, and for it's own purposes. In most regards, it's not even about dem and repub, liberal and conservative; those labels are no longer descriptive or operable, and don't even convey any sense of distinction between the two parties anymore. Republicans are just as likely to rule over an explosive growth in the power and scope of Government as Democrats are to abuse the police powers created in the wake of 9/11 -- and in both cases, the Rights of the The People who pay for the entire structure are steadily eroded -- despite pleas by the one for the cause of Freedom, and promises by the other that they exist to defend The Common Man.

In this regard, the Tea Party really stands for the Common Citizen in his fight against Leviathan. It seeks to bring this Beast low by changing the culture of Washington, D.C. by means of the vote and by bringing Public Opinion to bear. That should be a common cause between Whites, Blacks, Latinos, Gays, Feminists, Stockbrokers, Bus Drivers, Doctors, Construction Workers, Mothers, Fathers and your pet Airedale. We're all, literally, in the same boat; Washington, D.C., when the time comes, will forget such petty distinctions as race, sex, profession, sexual-orientation, and your favorite flavor of ice cream, and will finally make us all truly equal in the only way ion which only government can; equally miserable, equally impoverished, equally frustrated, equally oppressed.

The fight against this can only be won by good,well-meaning people coming together in defense of our common Citizenship and Heritage. The second you start peeling off sections, be they Black, Dog-Owners, or Fishermen, the whole thing comes to a screeching halt as the areas of common agreement become entangled with the individual pet peeves of specific groups. When that happens, you'll only get more Democrat and Republican parties in minature, atomized along various, esoteric lines and fighting with one another --and not their common enemy.

That is EXACTLY what both parties want to see happen to the Tea Party, because it sends the dissenters back into their ranks out of frustration, or disagreement upon a single (probably minor) issue, and then the current process can continue: the same class of abject assholes which has brought us to our current state of affairs stays in power, lessons unlearnt, even more determined to put the screws to us so as to prevent another manifestation of discontent from ever rearing it's ugly head again.

So,if you want to form a Black Tea Party, go right ahead -- you'll only be helping to retain the status-quo, and your lot in life will only be the worse for it. But if you can put aside Black-and-White for three seconds in favor of the label American Citizen, then maybe things can truly change for the better.

For everyone.

Separate But Equal Tea Parties?

Sophia Nelson in the Washington Post proposes the creation of a Black Tea Party. She claims to support the Tea Party's objectives, but dislikes the "racist" element within the Tea Party.

Firstly, there is no proof of endemic racism within the Tea Party itself; there are, no doubt, individuals who attach themselves to the movement who are racist, but the Tea Party does it's best to police them, and the accusations of racism that Ms. Nelson makes in this opinion piece are largely simply recycled democratic party talking points -- without a shred of evidence to make them credible.

Sophia then ruminates upon the viability of a Black Tea Party, using as a foundation for this thought the conversation at a dinner party (one apparently attended by only Black People). While all engaged seem to come to differing levels of consensus about the righteousness of the Tea Party Cause, they do so in a rather peculiar way which seems to imply that Blacks should join A Tea Party because it would benefit them more than the current devotion to the Democratic Party, BUT they should take pains not to be seen as being part of this particular Tea Party.

In this conversation, we find the Black Lawyer who's concern is Unemployed Black Folks, rather than the more generic Unemployed People, who damns the traditional Black Advocacy groups for their ineffectiveness and political posturing (he's right, but yawn). We also catch a glimpse of the Black Congressional Aide, who makes the obvious point that people are "hurting in this economy" but who still can't stop herself from categorizing the Hurt as"Blacks" Whites" and "Hispanics". Then follows the lulu of them all, when another conversant chimes in that there should be a "Rainbow Coalition Tea Party", evoking visions of Jesse Jackson, racial hucksterism, and extortion.

Rule of thumb: if you ever want to be part of an efficient, effective and beneficent organization, do not Take Jesse Jackson's organization as your blueprint. Rainbow/PUSH does little except keep Jesse rich and relevant, and the crumbs he distributes are just enough keep everyone else in line. If Jesse had a vowel at the end of his surname, there would be a Federal Prosecutor with a RICO indictment in hand on his doorstep, weekly.

Reading this, you get the general impression that even when it comes to finding a supposed "non-racial" solution to the problems of overreaching government, high taxation, economic dislocation, the author (and her friends) still think in terms of Race first, which is antithetical to the Tea Party's approach which is to consider the concept of American Citizen Before All . The idea of the racially-neutral nature of Tea Party quite literally does not register with her, except as a passing statistic thrown out as filler, no doubt. I think Ms. Nelson comes from a generation in which"diversity" is a good thing -- so long as Whites are excluded. If the Tea Party is a good idea, then join the Tea Party, Sophia; You don't need to start a new one because it's not "Black" enough.

Your argument for not jumping in with both feet is basically "I would join it, except there's some yucky white people in it". Well, the Tea Party does it's best to rid itself of those elements, so why wouldn't you want to help them do it, and help improve an organization which you say increasing shares your own views?

You're no better than the NAACP that you criticize, preferring to rail against that which is difficult instead of making an effort to change or improve it. You might enjoy some success and score a blow for true equality -- if you applied your energy to ensuring the Tea Party was Citizen-oriented and not Race-oriented, and that the worst elements were eliminated from it.

But that would leave you open to charges of being a Race Traitor, Uncle Tom, or not"Authentically Black" -- whatever the fuck that means -- and this, above all is what you wish to avoid; you want all the benefits of Conservatism without being branded a Conservative by your fellow Blacks who haven't realized the 1960's are over, and haven't discovered that the Welfare State is a dinosaur we can no longer afford to feed. The only way to soften the blow then, is to be a BLACK Tea Party, with nary a white face in sight, so that no one can accuse you of being a tool of the Republican Party, brainwashed, bribed, or otherwise tainted by association with White Conservatives when you...ahem...join the Dark Side.

Talk about cowardice!

Unless, of course, there's another motive altogether, and you see yourself as a potential leader of a nascent Black Tea Party and are just floating a trial balloon toward this end? What better way to garner laurels and get that coveted face time on the Sunday Talk Shows, the better to flog that book of yours, eh? The Black Sarah Palin? Serious people actually do things, Ms. Nelson, unserious ones write Dear-Diary-Entries-in-a-16-year-old-motif on serious subjects, adding only a slight and irrelevant detail (in this case, race) for the Washington Post, and call themselves "professional writers".

Do you wish to do what is right --not only for yourself, but for Black Folks, in general -- or do you want to be a slave (yes, I said it) to old-fashioned notions of solidarity that are increasingly archaic, and even unhealthy, and which cause you to even view questions of self-interest and personal freedom through the prism of race? If you can't answer that brutally frank question to your own satisfaction, then wasting newsprint broadcasting your contrived, internalized, junior-high-school-level-semi-drama is nothing less than teenaged narcissism disguised as journalism.

Your choice may be distasteful for a variety of personal reasons, Ms.Nelson, but it's not a terribly hard one to make.

Screaming "Movie" In a Crowded Firehouse...

It must really suck when your only purpose in life is to sit around and wait for someone to yell "Nigger", and then be continually disappointed when no one obliges you. I mean, it would be an easier life if those guys just put the sheets back on, really. Whatever is this world coming to when the Klan is embarrassed to be seen in public; A (half-) Black Man who five years ago you would have said wasn't "authentically Black" enough (but then suddenly became so just as soon as he won) is in the White House; and worse, some of the Brothas are crossing well-established lines to stand in solidarity with the Blue-eyed Devil over in that Tea Party thingy.

It's almost as if you have nothing to do, and have to make up controversies just in order to keep the donations flowing in.

No, it's not easy insisting Amerikkka is a racist country.... when it won't co-operate and be racist.

Like the Post Office, the NAACP is slowly circling the bowl but just hasn't realized it yet. Can't happen fast enough. Like the Post Office, it's a reminder of a Bygone Age, rapidly fading. The attachments to the NAACP are more emotional, nostalgia, than anything else, for it holds a certain place in the minds and hearts (and habits) of millions. When the last of the generation that remembers Jim Crow is finally laid to rest, there will probably be no one left in America who will have first-hand experience of actual racism, instead of the fake, contrived kind served up by any number of "reverends" and "Community Activists" every day. Now a once-illustrious organization, is more-or-less forced to follow that script, and create rancor where none exists just to justify itself. I'm surprised that they didn't stuff a teen-aged girl into a garbage bag with "KKK" scrawled in dog excrement upon her stomach....complete with spelling errors... and charge some innocent Cracker Cops with rape and kidnapping. Because if you're going to make shit up to give the appearance of racism where none exists, you have to go all the fucking way.

Half-measures are for suckahs.

Remember what I said earlier this week -- that second "A" is supposed to stand for "Advancement", but it's clear the NAACP is mired in the morass of the past; without the sort of virulent, in-your-face-and-up-your-ass racism that once existed in this country (and which is largely gone) the NAACP has no reason to continue to exist. It can only try to keep the memory of the glory days alive...like a bald, aging, pot-bellied former rock star on that second or third Farewell Tour...even if it has to contrive the circumstances under which the battles that were already won get fought all over again.

How Would You Fix It? Part II

My apologies for posting this several days late: Life intruded, as if often does, and I had no time for blogging.

Here are some observations about four new subjects, Race Relations, Energy, the Two-party system, and the BP Oil Spill. I hope to explain my extreme and diseased views on these subjects, and then tell you what I think should be done about them by We The Citizens, because depending upon government to solve these issues is sort of like asking your Golden Retriever to do your taxes -- he might by pure chance get it right, but he's far more likely to slobber and drool, and leave muddy paw prints upon the forms, if he hasn't already used them to take a dump on.

As to how We The Citizens are to affect these changes is something I cannot tell you. I've thought about the how, but then I realize that actually making these changes would require the entire culture be uprooted and replaced. We live in a modern culture which rewards the stupid and the lazy, mostly because it has been created BY the stupid and the lazy, for the benefit of other stupid and lazy people. While there are brilliant and innovative minds at work in America (despite the best efforts of Barack Obama to drive them out of the country), they increasingly turn their talents towards making life easier, without making it any more tolerable; you can get an iPhone app to figure out your four-way lunch bill in a restaurant, saving you the trouble of learning math. You can take a pill to control your cholesterol, cure your vaginal dryness, or lose weight without having to make drastic "lifestyle changes". The Digital Revolution makes for better communications and more efficient use and exchange of information, but no one seems to get any smarter, or to even listen to one another, anymore.

The only solution that I can imagine which might start to affect the cultural change we require is by that of personal example (if only because a carefully-planned program of street executions might not go over so well). If ONE person changes the way he or she lives and the choices they make, then perhaps someone else will see them do it, and likewise make the same changes. That's a very long shot, indeed, but it's better than the alternatives (depending on government, or Oprah).

Without further ado;

A) Race Relations
1. Slavery was abolished a long time ago. Jim Crow is dead. There have been Civil Rights Acts, Voting Rights Acts, Welfare Statism and Affirmative Action up the wazoo. If African-Americans still feel they haven't progressed (despite the evidence to the contrary), then we're probably no longer dealing with the lingering effects of victimization and "institutional Racism", and are more likely dealing with a mental illness, and a reflexive habit. The next time I hear an African-American scream "Racism!" I'm giving him the number of a really good psychiatrist. I'm tired of being made to feel guilty (doesn't work anymore!) and being made to pay for something I did not do and which is now well-and-truly in the past, and now which only serves as a poor excuse for the worst of behavior. I say to African-Americans: it's the 21st Century, come to the front of the bus -- and stand with the rest of us.

2. There is an entire generation of "Civil Rights Leaders" and countless organizations who constantly beat the "Racism" drum because it's been made economically- and politically-rewarding for them to do so. The truth is that Jesse, Rev. Al, and Rev. Wright have not changed a single thing for the better for anyone -- let alone their own race -- for over 40 years. At what point, do you think, someone will have the balls to stand up and say "Hey, this doesn't work. Can we try something else?". Even the NAACP, where one of those A's supposedly stands for "Advancement", is still attached to the rhetoric and "solutions" of years gone by. "Solutions", incidentally, which have only deepened the psychosis of a people who have apparently been taught that the answer to every problem in life is to hold your hand out and demand something you haven't earned -- or you'll pitch a riot.

3. The election of Barack Obama at first appeared to be a sign that America was finally beyond race; Americans had finally elected a (half-) black man to the highest office in the land. In hindsight this now appears not to have been an exercise in fairness and equality, but an act of desperation. The future was bleak in November of 2008, and the only other choices were a man who might not know what day of the week it was, and a modern-day Mussolini in a Black Panstuit encumbered by a horndog husband who would fuck a catcher's mitt, if it held still long enough, and the Secret Service could keep it a secret. That desperation gave us a President who was thoroughly unprepared, lacking common sense or knowledge of how the government actually works, a background sufficiently muddled so that even he can't explain it, and who somehow managed to graduate Harvard with a degree in Constitutional Law without apparently ever having read that document. In office, President Obama seems more interested in playing golf and enjoying the perks of office, rather than in actually doing the job for which he was hired, and when he actually does it, the results are about what you would expect from a brain-damaged four year old working with a hammer and a chainsaw.

In effect, Barack Obama has become the visible symbol of every negative stereotype that Whites ever held about blacks; He's an unqualified Affirmative-Action Baby who never held a real job in his life and who won't do this one, if he can avoid it. However, he has no trouble picking up a paycheck for as long as he can decently get away with it, all the while being paid the back-handed compliment of "he speaks so well...." from the upper crust of Libtard hypocrites. To hear Obama speak now -- far from the days when people were probably paid to faint at his speeches for dramatic effect -- all you can now hear is the constant repetition of a single theme -- "It's All Whitey's fault" -- in which George W. Bush, Wall Street, British Petroleum, the Republican Party, Religious people, Gun Owners, Law-and-Order conservatives and Immigration reformers all stand for "Whitey". Now you know just what effect Rev. Wright had on the man who sat in the pew for 20 years but mysteriously didn't hear nuffin'.

If Barack Obama survives his term in office (and by that I mean avoids impeachment, the ravages of hypertension, and the synapse-crushing banality of Joe Biden) he will probably have done more to set race relations back than any other individual now alive. He may be the first (half-) black President of the United States -- but he may also very well be the last one forever. Just remember that when it comes time for African-Americans to complain (due again in about 15 minutes) that "We never got a chance". These problems didn't appear overnight, and Obama knew there were two wars and an economic crisis when he lobbied for the job claiming to have all the answers, so he can't complain now. And neither can African-Americans who wanted a Savior but are forced to support a Scoundrel solely on the basis of a racial affinity system that they constructed themselves.

4. Instead of selecting Barack Obama as your hero and life-example, you might want to re-consider the example of Gansta Rappers -- stripped of the veneer of their"music" and "art"; unlike the President, these guys at least understand economics and Capitalism better than most Ivy-League educated Economists, obviously work hard to build their little empires, and are probably smart enough, in their own ways, to have been anything they desired had they not chosen "rapper" as a career path. Even if they have made their fortunes selling cultural poison, they were at least honest about their motives: Dollah-Dollah, biotch!

5. To All my Mexican "Amigos" (the ones leading the unwanted invasion); we Gringos don't owe you anything either, and the Southwest isn't "your" country anymore. While the Southwest USED to be your country, you lost it. You lost it because Mexicans couldn't make it economically viable, and so you had to import Gringos -- Gringos with a history of fighting for liberty, the rule of law, and personal notions about individual rights and the prerogatives/limitations of government -- to do it for you. You mistreated them, and so they did what came naturally to them; they revolted. You lost the War. Your leaders bankrupted your country in the process, and the territory they didn't lose in War, they sold off to cover their debts. To Us Gringos. Get over it. Your country is still economically moribund, and you still live in it and we don't, so try to figure out if there's a common theme there. We're not "stealing" from or "oppressing" you. Accept this basic truth, and you'll no longer be laboring under the delusion that you're magically entitled to something for nothing, and you might be motivated to make your own home a better place.

6. Mexico is a shithole because Mexicans made it so, not Yanquis. Mexicans accept corrupt government, massive criminal activity, and a "manana" culture. They do not value education, the rule of law, and use every convenient vertical surface as a toilet (like the landscaper I caught pissing in my neighbor's hedges this past week, and the "immigrant" children who play pissing games in the streets around here). While many pro-Illegal Immigration advocates raise the battle cry "They're only here for a better life!", left unanswered is the question "Then why don't they create one for themselves in their own country?". If there's "tension" between Whites and Hispanics, it's because Hispanics have brought that lack of values (and sanitation) to America with them, and then have the cojones to demand that we accept it. Remember: you're not "Doing Jobs Americans Won't Do", you're "Doing Jobs Americans Won't Do Because They Suck, Pay Badly, and Don't Come With a Dental Plan", so who's really benefiting? I wonder what we'll do with 12 million parasites in the future when lettuce gets picked by machines, the MLS finally shuts down, and the really smart people switch to rock gardens, and home-grown vegetables.

B) Energy Policy
1. It's time to go nuclear, baby, and not just on Iran. All the "No Nukes" faggots who ran around in the 70's and 80's, who helped to kill a more widespread nuclear power industry in this country, are probably the same deranged idiots who run around screaming about that Global Warming/Freezing/Flooding nonsense. The irony here is that by resisting the push for nuclear energy, you probably condemned Mother Gaia to another several decades of nasty pollution. Not only that, now that we're at a point in history where a change must be made (but not for the reasons you want it to be), if there ever IS a move to increase the number of nuclear power plants in this country we'll be several decades behind in terms of technology, efficiency and expected costs. Good going, Douchebags! Until the "Green Movement" is purged of it's sanctimonious-and-clueless Watermelon Faction (Green on the outside, Red on the Inside, All-wet-and-slightly-slimy-throughout), or they're all beaten into deep comas, we'll never have a better answer to the problems of Energy Independence and pollution, because every solution offered will never be good enough to appease these absolutist assholes. They are the modern-day equivalent of Calvinists.

By the way, morons, in case no one told you; Carbon Dioxide is a gas which is essential to the continuance of Life on this planet. If you try to artificially restrict it or prevent it from being generated, you will be killing billions of your fellow creatures -- especially the one's you're always trying to "save".

2. Alternative fuels and sources simply must be found. Current "Green" alternatives (wind, solar, ethanol, etc) are merely stopgaps, or at best, adjuncts. None is capable of becoming a dominant source of energy like fossil fuels, simply because these forms cannot generate the sort of power we demand as efficiently or as inexpensively. It is up to the Public to advocate for serious investment in viable alternatives by putting their money where their mouths are, as it were, with their investment dollars, their votes, and by pushing Energy companies to respond to the needs of a changing marketplace and attitudes (that will never be allowed, because that would be, like, The People exercising their freedoms!), without giving into the more ridiculous demands of the "Save the Earth, Kill All the People" fringe of Tree Huggers.

3. Until such time as an alternative to fossil fuels is found, it is necessary to increase domestic production of oil, coal, and natural gas. Fuck the caribou in ANWAR; they don't pay taxes. Fuck the fish, they don't vote; let's gets some more hydroelectric dams up and running. Coal is cheap, and can be burned cleaner than ever before, by a process that is probably cleaner than most people's bathrooms. Natural gas is so abundant that it's amazing that there aren't gas-powered television sets already, We can even siphon the methane out of the Everglades and garbage dumps. We'll need to have a "carry-over" period between when energy is created in abundance by alternative means, and when the Internal Combustion engine goes the way of Teddy Kennedy, and we already have a great deal of what we'll need right here at home. Make use of it.

4. What's wrong with this scenario: America's best minds are fully capable of inventing drugs that give old men erections that no woman in her right mind wants any part of, but the same minds seem incapable of solving the problems associated with energy? People who will complain loudly about $3 gasoline, and consider it a grave economic burden, apparently have no issue with the $25 dollar-a-pop hard-on, so I guess that's where the money goes, and so, naturally, that's where all the talent and brainpower goes, too. Priorities, on both sides of the equation, are seriously skewed.

C) The Two-Party System
1. One party robs from the Rich to Give to the Poor, and considers it an act of "fundamental fairness". The other Robs from The Rich to Give to the Rich-er, and calls it a "Free-Market Economic system". Neither actually believes what they say, for if they did, their policies would not have produced the results they have; two sub-populations of dependants -- one lining up for government cheese, and the other for Corporate welfare, at the expense of those in the Middle, the very backbone of the American Economy. Once this premise is accepted, it becomes so much easier to understand why the Tea Party exists and has become a popular, and electorally-viable alternative, in such a short time.

2. Social Utopianism based upon redistribution of wealth, only redistributes poverty. The class of "The Rich", gets defined ever more expansively, and the scope of the redistribution widens and deepens, sucking all the ambition and creative energy out of life. I guess this is why the democratic (small 'd' intentional) party can claim that it's best equipped to "fight for the poor" ; it certainly knows how to make them poor. The sooner the democratic party is brought kicking-and-screaming into the 21st Century by a thorough purging of it's extreme, Pink left, the better to disabuse it of it's 19th Century ideas. That can only be accomplished at the ballot box.

3. Most aspects of Conservatism are approaching the symptoms of mental disease in which it's greatest advocates seem to remember a "Golden Age", which never really existed in quite the way they remember, or rather choose, to remember it. Those that believe in this premise are caught between two antithetical ideas: a) there can be technical progress, and a general increase in living standards, without a corresponding change in social mores, and b) that time travel is possible -- but only into The Past. The sooner the Republican party is dragged kicking-and-screaming into the 21st Century, and out of the 1500''s, the better. The sooner the Republican party stops looking for "The Next Reagan" and concentrates instead on "The First Man with A Grasp of Our Current Realities", it would be even better. This, too, can only be accomplished at the ballot box.

4. Though both parties claim to abhor "Special Interests" neither is anything BUT a coalition of Special Interests. The Libtard party is a coalition of narrow, self-interested groups (Gays, Women, Blacks, Labor, Abortion Chicks, etc), and so is the Fuddy-Duddy Party (Religious bigots, The Machine-Guns-and-RPG's-For-Everybody-Crowd, Small Business owners, The Law-and-Order-at-all-costs zealots, those who can remember when Cowboys slaughtering Redskins on TV was considered "Wholesome Family Entertainment"). Both parties accept scads of money from entities that are often diametrically-opposed to what they claim to stand for; Wall Street funds democrats, those who hire illegal immigrants against the law support the party of Values. The Media supports the party that would destroy it's Independence and profitability in a heartbeat, while advocates for Free Markets support the party that does everything in it's power to ensure that markets are neither free, nor fair, and creates an atmosphere where outright theft is allowed because enforcing the law is "bad for business.".

One party holds itself out as the defender of Working Families while it plunders their wallets to support the Non-Working Families, and the other claims to be a paragon of Family Values and Fiscal Responsibility while it's members solicit gay sex in airport bathrooms, grope the Congressional Pages, cheat on their wives, and vote to pump taxpayer money into failing companies in order to "save the American economy". Seems to me that if you want to save anything, you don't throw money at failure, either the corporate or the social kind, and especially not the political kind. The sooner we hold both parties to their rhetoric by paying attention to their actions, the more accountability and honesty we'll get from these dimwits, because they certainly understand the meaning of "Unemployment Line" -- they've only combined forces to send 8 million people there in the last two years.

5. Campaign Finance Reform MUST be repealed, as it protects incumbents and makes it near-impossible to challenge the status-quo in our politics. Many good people, perhaps people with actual talent and ideas, are being artificially kept out of public service by CFR, the better for Senator Asshole and Congressman Dingleberry to keep eating at the public trough, and to reward/punish their political allies/foes with taxpayer-funded goodies. The sooner we get rid of CFR, the sooner we can get some new blood and new ideas, into American government.
A third party -- and why not? -- a fourth and a fifth are most sorely needed; we can have a Tea Party, and of the other two, one can contain all the aging hippies, and the other can be chock full of the ancient and pious hypocrites, and both will be so marginalized as to eventually disappear from the poilitical scene completely.

D) The Gulf Oil Spill
1. The federal Government has shown it's inability to co-ordinate any action in the face of a major disaster. For all of you douchebags who blamed George W. Bush for the slow federal response to Hurricane Katrina, now you can stand up and say you're sorry, given the even more pitiful perfomance of the Obama Government. Local government and private citizens have done more, or at least would have, if they weren't prevented from trying by the Feds. Cleanup would have been more efficient had the Feds accepted all the offers of international help, and had not been beholden to the labor unions. Dispersants and certain other cleanup measures would have been in place, and doing useful work, if it wasn't for the EnvironMENTALIST's influence on the levers of power, and OSHA dictating 20-minute work hours. BP would probably have been more forthcoming on the how's and why's of this spill, if the Justice Department hadn't been screaming"LAWSUIT!" for polticial purposes, and the Administration wasn't trying to shake them down before letting BP take care of it's primary responsibility: stopping the leak, and cleaning the shit up.

2. BP fucked up, but the Federal Government fucked up more, only faster, more-expensively, on a grander scale and in front of the video cameras. It's time for a booster shot of Federalism, and a new dose of State's Rights. When it becomes the job of the Federal Government to do everything, it manages to do nothing, only spectacularly and with ruinous expense. If we've learned anything after 9/11, Katrina and now this Oil Spill, it's that government functions on about the same level as a retarded Irish Setter, is totally detached from the issues/problems of the people who pay for it, and has so many competing bureaucracies involved in every aspect of our lives that meaningful and effective action on most subjects is next to impossible.

3. BP, more as a result of the Obama Administration's attempts to publicly punish the company in an effort to cover it's own ass, has sent the company to the brink of bankruptcy (this Administration is really good at that). Today's paper reveals that Exxon-Mobil is poised to scoop up what's left of BP, creating an even bigger, richer and less accountable corporate entity. It would have been better had someone reminded President Dickhead that the main thrust of "government action" should have been cleanup, preventing the destruction of beaches, shorelines and marshlands, protecting and helping American citizens, and he left BP to the task of actually stopping the leak. But that would have meant no COngressional Hearings, and no Golf, I guess. Instead, we got a lot of talk about "Relief Funds", lawsuits, and the Savior of the Universe being unable to suck the oil up with a straw. If I were the CEO of BP right now, I'd throw my hands up in the air, yell "Fuck it!" and take my millions to go live on a nice, tropical beach somewhere, and let the all-powerful-all-knowing-in-charge-from-the-18th-hole-and-clueless Barack Obama clean up my messes -- the ones he's made infinitely worse -- for me. After all, he's the one who supposedly came with the cape and the halo, and you're just a guy in an exquisitely-tailored suit.

But then again, Mr. BP CEO; you often get what you pay for, don't you? That doesn't help the fishermen and resort workers on the Gulf, but they're just "little people", right? Even Obama, by his actions, has said so.

Next time, I'll have a go at the Eductational System, Foreign Policy, and the process of "Enstupidation" (thank you, Fred Reed, for inventing the term).

Waiting for Someone To Yell "Nigger!"...

With regards to the fears of "racial profiling" that have been voiced over the new Arizona immigration law;

Boo-frickin'-hoo!

We have Muslim guys driving explosive-laden SUV's around my Hometown, shooting up our military bases, trying to blow up airliners with their underwear, and trying their level-best to kill thousands of innocents, but to mention the conjunction of so many extraordinary coincidences (terrorist, person of color, Muslim) is taboo in a way that it will get you rebuked and vilified by Keith Olberman and the Attorney General of the United States.

We have African-American guys running around New York City in colored bandannas, flashing gang signs, running drugs and shooting each other up in the open, but if you should happen to draw parallels between dress, race, and activities, you're engaging in stereotyping, which is bad juju -- even if it happens to be provably true. Reverend Al and Charles Baron, and a legion of brain-dead welfare recipients, will be on your doorstep for daring to point out the glaringly obvious, to threaten and harass you with impunity...and lots of media attention.

As Ann Coulter has said forever (paraphrasing), you can't use racial profiling to catch criminals/terrorists -- but somehow it's perfectly alright to use it to determine who gets into Harvard Law.

Racial Profiling is a fact of life (because it works!). However, the only people in America who can be safely (free from criticism and lawsuit) racially profiled nowadays are usually Conservative Caucasian Males. You'd think otherwise from all the Sturm und Drang of the "Oppressed Classes", but this is now all too obviously true. Need proof? Try this one on for size:

We now know that the last failed attempt to blow up New York City was made by a Pakistani immigrant, who is now suspected of having ties to the Pakistani Army, and who trained in an Al'Qaeda training camp. He has traveled to Pakistan several times in the last few years, often staying for months at a time. He has ties to a known radical Islamic "cleric". To suggest that Islam and Terrorism go hand-in-glove will get you morally censored in Polite Society. But, if you listened to the news reports in during the crisis, everyone from the dopey anchors at MSNBC, to the Obamatards at DHS. to the Mayor (Bloomberg), and a U.S. Senator (Schumer), were insisting that the attempted bomber just HAD to be a disgruntled white guy who "fit the description" which went something like this:

Extreme Right winger, middle-aged White male loner, probably in the Tea Party movement, and disgruntled by the Enlightened Policies of God...errr...Barak Obama.

Except for the one U.S. Congressman (King) who broke formation to say the perpetrator was just pissed off at South Park. I'm glad we have such Rhodes Scholars running the country.

They all did/said these things within a few hours (sometimes minutes) of the attempt, before any facts had come into their possession. It was speculation, and it's indicative of the stupidity that is prevalent amongst our "Ruling Classes", and also the complete, upside-down nature of the racial debate in America these days; you can, without proof, pin the blame on a non-existent wacky White Guy, but don't you dare to suggest that crowd of black teenagers walking behind you with menace might not be on their way home from choir practice, or that a bomb left in a high-profile target area might be the work of Islamic Extremists. Nowadays, the assumption of complete innocence is being bestowed upon Hispanics with regards to Immigration. It's "their turn", I guess.

It's perfectly acceptable in Today's America to profile the White Guy as the Greatest Danger (wasn't it the Obama Administration's Homeland Security folks who warned the greatest danger to American is the returning PTSD-addled Iraq War veteran?), but the Border Crosser is just a hard-working soul who means no harm to society. During the last attempted NYC bombing there were careless references to Tim McVeigh, the Klan, White Militias, the (now apparently-innocent) Hutaree made, before the Chattering Classes finally had to confess their disappointment that the culprit was, indeed, another Person of Color of Indeterminate Religious Persuasion. The same people find it easy to criticize Whitey with no proof of being racist, but conveniently neglect the kidnappings, drug running, human trafficking, rampant crime and overflowing emergency rooms that characterizes much of the Illegal Immigration question. The Media and our Politicians link everyone with an opinion that runs counter to Obama's Blessed Vision as a bomb-throwing extremist -- but they all look as if they're about to wet themselves if they have to say the words "Radical Islam", "Black Criminal" or "Illegal Alien".

Concerning "Racial Profiling"; there was a time in America when the police using "profiling" was known by another name. It used to be called "The Cops Doing Their Jobs", and it was a useful tool in the fight against crime. All police officers profile (don't let anyone tell you differently); it's all about recognizing certain patterns of behavior and and circumstances and then drawing inferences from them based upon experience. They just "know" that certain people who fit a certain profile are probably involved in something wrong.

Are the cops always right? No. Sometimes that scantily clad woman at the stoplight, talking up the stopped motorists, is really just a chick who's car broke down on the way to a costume party, and she's trying to beg a ride. Sometimes, that guy in the hoodie didn't steal the television he's carrying; he just brought over to his friend's house so they could watch the big game on a sweeter rig. Sometimes, the black guy in dreadlocks in the High-end Mercedes isn't a drug dealer, but the son of a prominent doctor. The Cops can sometimes be wrong, but they are usually correct much more often.

The idea that the police "harass" certain groups of people for "doing nothing" (euphemism: "driving while _______" or "doing a job an American won't do") is a false one. If a police officer is hassling you, he probably has a reason to do so (unless he's a complete wackjob). Most cops have better things to do than the extra paperwork, and their job is already dangerous and unpredictable enough as it is, without having to actually manufacture more danger by instigating something without a reason. But, we're getting off the real topic here.

There is a segment of the population, prevalent amongst the old "Civil Rights" set, which has long made a living off of creating a controversy where none exists, a phenomenon I've heard referred to as "Waiting for Someone To Yell Nigger". It basically means there are people out there who are entirely all-too-ready to put a racial spin on anything in order to exploit the grievance gravy train, or the political spoils system. People like this are like ambush predators; they lay in wait, until someone strays from the herd of Political Correctness, to say or do something which can be (deliberately) misconstrued, just so they can file a lawsuit, start a picket line, twist a congresscritter's arm, riot in the streets, and make someone (usually White Guys) "pay". If no one obliges them and actually yells "Nigger!", then they try to find some way to insinuate that you're at least thinking it and everybody knows it, anyway (i.e. Institutional Racism).

It's a well-established pattern, and it's been made use of by every political/racial group on the planet -- Blacks, Feminists, Gays, American Indians, Muslims -- and now it about to be used by Hispanics in regard to this new Arizona Immigration Law.

You know how you can tell this is one of those times when outrage is being manufactured for political gain? When the three people who should be the most concerned about the subject -- The President of the United States, the Attorney General of the United States, and the Secretary of Homeland Security -- can all admit they haven't read the law, but they feel the need to scream "racism!" before it even goes into effect, and expect to be taken seriously.

The scheme is based upon the old adage that the "Squeaky Wheel Always Gets the Grease".

Well, the Squeaky Wheels have been greased so often that each successive Squeak has -- by necessity - to be louder and more outrageous than the last, and many of the more infamous attempts of recent years have quickly been exposed for what they were; shams and contrivances of convenience. This only makes the folks with the Grease all the less likely to applying it tot he next Squeaky Wheel. The Squeaking over Illegal Immigration is about to get louder, and shriller, and expect to see those who disagree with the view that it's perfectly legal to violate a nation's sovereignty, and then steal from it, get further tarred with the Racist label, and worse. Those who want the problem of illegal immigration fixed, for good, will be called Nazi, Fascist, Baby Killer, Puppy Kicker, Slave Master, and far worse. The Pro-Immigration side will engage in the basest of stereotyping and racial profiling -- all the while claiming the moral high ground and accusing their opponents of the same. The hyperbole will completely destroy the credibility of their own arguments, but it won't really matter; they'll still be taken seriously by the Press and political establishment -- which largely agrees with or earns a living off of them, will cover for them, or which maybe even does their bidding.

After all, we all know how terrible White Guys are...all potential terrorists, you know.

The Squeaky Wheels have yet to realize that The Only People in America You Can Racially Profile Safely in the United States have run out of Grease, and are considering a search for a new Wheel. This might be the last chance to put the White Guy in his place for a long time to come, if ever. The Other Side hasn't realized that the old arguments about "racism" are on their last legs. Those arguments worked when society was still capable of feeling guilt and shame, and when there was an actual moral foundation to the charges. But not anymore. Few nowadays, are ever responsible for anything. Few are expected to take the feelings and needs of their fellow citizens into consideration anymore. The Race Card had been played until its gotten all ragged, and dog-eared and faded, and you see it coming out of the deck before it's ever dealt.

People are hurting economically, our Government is about to spend us all into eternal poverty -- when it doesn't plan to steal from us -- our lives are being regimented and re-ordered like never before, our activities are being scrutinized like never before. The people who have been put upon the most in order to build Brave New World -- the ones who actually pay for it -- are fed up. It just a coincidence that the first test will be over Illegal Immigration.

So expect White Guy to push back -- on immigration, on affirmative action, gay marriage, on a range of issues in which White Guy is simply expected to surrender his rights and freedoms, and cash, and someone else gets to enjoy the benefits just because they can cry louder. That won't work anymore.

We've reached a point in American history where White Guy is sick of being portrayed as a lunatic fringer, of being blamed for every evil past, present, and future, and tired of being set upon by politicians, pundits, racial hucksters and tax collectors. His ears have been wearied by those who scream about their "rights", and somehow forget that White Guy is supposed to have some, too

The next time I see eleven Mexicans in a rusty van, I'm calling the cops. You've been warned. Yelling "Beaner!" is a tactic that simply won't work anymore.
