Douchebag of the Week (4/13/14): Eric Holder, Victim of Racism...

Pity Attorney General Eric Holder.

No, seriously.

It must be tough to live in an America which is so vilely racist that a member of a formerly-enslaved race can rise to become the Chief Law Enforcement Officer in all the land, with, apparently, no intention or clue as to how to actually, you know...enforce the law. Or maybe even understand it.

I mean, it can only have happened in someplace less-racist, like, say, Zimbabwe or China, that the son of Caribbean immigrants could grow up in the slums of New York, live a life of abject poverty in a hardscrabble fight for a decent life, be deprived of opportunity by the pernicious legacy of the slave trade, and then, by dint of hard work, inspiration, a do-or-die spirit, manage to raise himself up by his bootstraps to complete law school, to become a judge, engage in national politics, and then reach the very pinnacle of success by virtue of sheer competence and skill.

Yeah, that couldn't happen in racist America.

Then again, that's not Eric Holder's story, either.

What We Saw At The DNC...

It's finally over. The great big jamboree for the preternaturally stupid, the aging hippies, the Welfare Pimps, and the Professional Poor and Aggrieved is done. The City of Charlotte can now relax, even if it will take several days for the cloud of pot smoke and the aroma of bullshit to dissipate upon the eight winds. The moans and groans that I have heard over the last few days from those friends who live in my adopted Second City were the sort one usually only associates with someone dying of a very painful, and terminal, disease.

The people of Charlotte are damned happy this morning to have this three-ring circus, this travelling bordello of politics, this concentration of the worst elements of American society, finally gone.

The Fifteen Biggest Bullshitters In America Today...

I believe it was the late George Carlin who once said, paraphrasing, that the biggest industry in America was the production, packaging, marketing and distribution of Bullshit.

Sometimes, when you look at the blasted heath that was once the landscape of this Great Nation, and you think about how it all devolved to deposit us at our current state of affairs, it's difficult not to agree with that cynical sentiment. You need look no further than the corridors of power in America for proof of this maxim:

President Obama is a bullshit artist.

Most members of Congress are bullshit artists.

Local governments are overflowing with bullshit artists, from the execrable personage of Mayor Michael Bloomdouche...errr...Bloomberg...of my great city of New York, to the "Honorable" Jerry Brown, governor of a bankrupt California which is rapidly becoming Mexico, only with indoor plumbing and food.

Of Catholics and Contraceptives...

On the newfangled-and-iron-fisted idea that Barack Obama (supposedly a Constitutional Scholar? Go figure!) and a bunch of died-in-the-wool Libtards can force the Catholic Church to provide contraceptives and abortion benefits for it's employees in violation of the First Amendment, I have the following thing to say:

Barack Obama can force the Church to provide the Morning-After Pill to it's employees just as soon as:

Obama mandates that every mosque in America should allow unfettered access to it's grounds, members and records by the FBI,24/7/365.

Reason #42,356 Why Your Government is Run By Retards...

Federal Government runs year-long sting operation to arrest Amish farmer for...selling milk.

Now I know why no one is catching illegal immigrants or shooting terrorists. Federal authorities apparently have nothing better to do than to feel up 6-year olds at the airport, and harass what is perhaps the last group of decent, civilized, unoffensive people left in the United States.

What? Slow day in the War on Drugs?

Don't have a Mafia Don to wiretap?

Can't find a child molester to roust?

Run out of the ready supply of Congressional Democrats with a Frigidaire full of ill-gotten greenbacks?

I would have thought those would be as common as dogshit, and seeing as how Irish-Setter stupid they are, exceedingly easy to catch.

Screw the 'Food Safety Issues': if some douchebag wants to drink raw milk, and take her (it's usually a Her) chances with all sorts of parasites and pathogens, then that's her problem. Just remind her that if she should get sick, and show up in an Emergency Room and demand ObamaCare, she ain't getting any. The government's job isn't to protect people from their own stupidity. If we simply let the people who would drink raw milk, inject heroin, engage in risky sexual behavior, hang-glide, ride motorcyles without helmets, climb mountains int he dead of winter, etc. die as a result of their stupidity, we'd have a much better country, and a smaller, less-expensive, and less-oppressive government.

And the Amish would be safe!

Eric Holder must be proud. I can't wait for the Press Conferrence in which he claims to have struck a blow against unsafe bovine products, and the evil Amish, who are white -- which makes them born criminals, in his book -- and undeserving of civil liberties and economic freedom, anyway.

In any other society a farmer or businessman who responded to the needs of the marketplace would get rich. In Modern America, it can get you arrested, unless you've managed to make enough campaign contributions, a nd since the Amish won't put up much of a fight, are an insignificant voting bloc, have no lobbyists, they're easy to push around -- not like the 15 million illegal aliens hiding in plain sight all over the country.

Personally, I believe these Whole Foods people are a bunch of whackos, anyway. Today they espouse the belief that raw milk 'is better for you'; given a few more months, they'll be telling you it's best to suck it straight from the udder. Mark my words.

Besides, isn't the First...ahem...Lady crusading for healthier food, spending millions of taxpayer dollars, leaving a massive Air-Force-One carbon footprint in the process, to get Americans to eat healthier? How to reconcile all the contradictions?

In a time of economic hardship, and when there are serious criminal issues to tackle with National Security implications (terrorism, drugs, illegal immigration) the Obama Administration's law enforcement arm spends a shitload of money -- and an entire year undercover -- to arrest a guy for engaging in productive economic activity that would be perfectly legal in even the worst Third World shithole. I guess because GE doesn't get a cut of his profits, and the Obamatard didn't get the Amish Vote, there's no Union Labor involved and he's not collecting sales tax as an agent of the State, this farmer has to suffer the consequences.

And really, did you need a year-long undercover operation to catch an Amish dude? Then again, the government can't keep inbred Taliban mountain folk in a prison inside a country where there's 140,000 American soldiers on duty, so I guess this is par for the course.

For all my libtard friends out there who say the government can't find any money to cut in the Federal Budget without those cuts leading to dire and catastrophic consequenes that probably include mass flooding, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, a raging cholera epidemic, a rain of brimstone, the Earth flying off it's axis, and, of course, 'starving children and homeless elderly', I say: maybe if the Government wasn't busy arresting and prosecuting people for selling a legal product -- milk -- we might be able to afford a few more cardboard boxes with which to warehouse the elderly, and the kids could drink all the fucking milk -- pasteurized or not --they wanted.

Too Smart for His Own Good?

Three anonymous (probably Leftard) 'experts' subject President Obama to a thorough examination -- without meeting him -- and form the following diagnosis:he's a complex dude, and that's why we don't understand just how absolutely fucking incomprehensibly awesome he really is.

Let's get this out of the way: I like Barack Obama, The Man, not Barack Obama the Jumpshot-in-Chief. I think he is genuinely smart in that Ivory Tower, bookish sort of way which makes for interesting cocktail party conversation, but which usually doesn't work when applied to practical problems. I'd like to spend an afternoon with him over a couple of beers and a ballgame, or maybe an evening of poker, cigars and dirty jokes. Hell, he can fuck my sister, I admire him so much.

It takes a great man to be this utterly clueless and still get elected to the highest office in the land. I'd like to know his secrets to success.

But, there's something about Obama that just doesn't compute, and as we used to say in my old systems programming days, if it doesn't add up, then you've fucked up. There's something missing, a key variable, a lack of data, some error that must account for the gap between the Hope and Result.

So, I've done my own evaluation of Barack Obama -- debugging, as it were, the Man's code -- and since I'm not a psychiatrist, haven't read any of his three, five, seven, whatever, biographies, don't parse his speeches looking for flashes rhetorical brilliance, I don't faint at the mere sight of him, or read any of his policy papers, I figure this makes me just as qualified to evaluate the President from a distance and with no direct input as three so-called psychiatric experts who apparently are incapable of speaking in coherent sentences.

I don't believe that Barack Obama ever expected to win the election in 2008.

I believe this, without proof or first-hand evidence -- but that didn't stop Millbank's Experts, did it? -- that B.O. was just as convinced as every other Flapping Rectum in the summer of 2008 that Hillary Clinton had the democratic nomination all but stolen, and that his job in that case was to remind the Clinton Wing of the democratic party that the Moonbat Left was still there and had stuff to say (It may have been stupid stuff, but it still needed to be said), and they would not be silent while a candidate they saw as fundamentally the same as McCain took her premature victory lap and coasted into a uncontested November win.

Obama was probably content to play Clinton's Ralph Nader, and then try again another day.

But then the Economy hitthe skids. The Stock Market crashed. The Housing Market was imploding. The country was still embroiled in two wars that appeared to be becoming social laboratories and Straw Men for Left and Right to argue over rather than actually WIN. People began to worry, they began to panic, and when they examined their choices come November 2008, they found two people who were indistinguishable in their 'maintain the status quo' politicking, and some dude who gave good speech and managed to make 'more of the same' even more unappealing.

So, they voted for Barry. Whether this was the desperation of Hope, or the desire for Change, matters not: if Obama had one thing in his favor it was that he wasn't an aging Cold Warrior who couldn't stay on the same side of the political street for three minutes, or an opportunistic hellion in a Black Crusty Pantsuit who was going to have her Presidency run -- and probably ruined -- by her horndog husband. Obama was seen as alien to the viper pit of Washington politics that had caused the multiple messes we were in. That was enough for a good many folks.

So there he was, actually winning. The problem was, I think, that since he hadn't expected to win, he had no plan for what do next.

This became evident almost immediately with the Stimulus Plan. it wasn't an economic plan as much as it was a wish-list of ridiculous projects and pet peeves compiled by Congressional Democrats. The only thing "shovel ready" about that plan was The Plan Itself. It's not surprising that it failed because it wasn't really intended to do anything beyond ensuring that certain democratic (small 'd' intentional) party allies and constituencies were fully funded before the money well-and-truly ran out.

The next clue was ObamaCare. In the midst of an economic crisis, Obama puts forth a brand-spankin' new entitlement program, and then leaves the details to Congress again. He then spends 15 months -- the first third of his Presidency, in effect -- trying to sell a plan that he can't explain, can't describe the need for, and can't justify at a time when people are losing their jobs left and right. A year after it's been passed he still can't explain it, and the more we learn of it as the days unwind, the less we like it. Nancy Pelosi wasn't just being coy when she said "We have to pass it to find out what's in it"; none of the people who allegedly put it together even KNEW what they had wrought, and what they did know of it was sure to be political suicide (see 2010 midterms). That's why the thing was cobbled together in secrecy, funded up-front, and passed almost in the dead of night with the hope that it would eventually just be too complex -- and embeded -- to kill at a later date.

The next indication that Barack Obama wasn't prepared for this job was the enormous amount of time he spent complaining about having to do it. I was especially shocked to listen to President-Elect Obama take daily questions from the Press on this or that subject, and alternately expound a load of fertilizer where he thought it would do him good, and then gently remind the Press that he wasn't President yet when a question was inconvenient. Later, the criticism becomes too great and mean-spirited, everything was George Bush's fault, it's racism and he inherited every problem and they couldn't all be fixed overnight(this is true, but it's not as if he didn't know about the pile of horse dung that is Washington and American Politics; but he did, after all, lobby for the job and should have known), and this led to the next clue:

The amount of time Barack Obama has spent in the last two years NOT being President of the United States. He's on vacation every few weeks. He's delegated a shitload of authority and responsibility to 'czars' and 'Blue Ribbon Panels', he's taking "Date Nights" with the Missus, taking the kids to Hawaii, playing as much golf as possible. When catastrophe strikes, and the Gulf Coast is poisoned by a massive oil spill, Obama goes on vacation, but promises to file a lawsuit when he comes back. He starts a war by committee, so that England and France can fight Khadaffi to the last American on behalf of their oil supplies, and then tries to back away from ownership of it. This as American forces are already fighting on behalf of the  Europeans in Afghanistan and Iraq. Our foreign policy leadership has been turned over to the U.N., the Arab League, and the European Union.

But the Biggest Clue about about how clueless Barack Obama is in the selection of his advisers; he went back into the Clinton Administration to find a good number of them. Nothing says 'Change' like a return of the legions of Clinton Zombies who had served so well that Al Gore couldn't even win his OWN STATE in a time of peace and prosperity, and was reduced to trying to sue his way into the White House.

Leon Pannetta, Rahn Emannuel, Eric Holder, and if that's not frightening enough, there's a cavalcade of democratic party stars rumored to be waiting in the wings, whispering this or that piece of sage advice, or angling for jobs: Jimmy Carter, Jamie Gorelick, Donna Brazille, Joe "The Raging Dumbass" Biden. Some change.

Whatever economic plan Obama and his team managed to write on the back of a cocktail napkin and presented as a serious solution to our economic woes sounds as if it came right out of a Soviet Three Year Plan, one that college students are obliged to read about in their textbooks: massive government 'investment' in Green Energy -- an industry which has, to date, not delivered a single result to ever match it's claims -- a return of FDR's Public Works Programs, Nationalization of the Banks and selected (union-dominated) Industries on a scale, and in such brazen fashion, that it would have made the Nazis blush with envy.

Change? We're trying the same things that have been tried in various countries since the 1930's; they didn't work then, they sure as hell won't work now. We're being lectured to on Capitalism by the Chinese and Russians, for Christ's sake! I'm sure everyone in the White House has read Das Kapital, but has anyone there read The Wealth of Nations?

Don't even get me started on how it is that Candidate Obama and President Obama are polar opposites on Gitmo Detainees, The Surge, Raising Debt Ceilings, Bush Tax Cuts (he's now changed positions on these, by my count, three times), talking about ending two wars, but then starting a third, etc, etc. I guess it's easy to criticize when you're ignorant of reality than it is when you're in full possession of the facts -- or at least when you're trying to get someones job, only to find out it's not all it's cracked up to be. In the end, it looks as if you're making it up as you go along, flying by the seat of your pants, confused, uncertain, disinterested.

This guy always seems to be two or three steps behind the curve on everything. Everything comes as a surprise, every issue or crisis is one that is unforeseen, and is preceded or followed with the adjective 'unexpectedly!'. He doesn't know what to do about Egypt. He doesn't know what to do about Libya. He doesn't realize that governments don't run economies, businesses do. He doesn't know what to do about much of anything, and when he tries to explain what action he does/doesn't take, no one buys it. We see right through it all.

Too smart for his own good? A complex thinker? Not by half. Barack Obama would have made a good insurance salesman. There's no shame in that; the world needs insurance salesmen. But a deep thinker? a Complex personality? A mathematician's ability to juggle variables in his head? On what fucking planet?

What Barack Obama is -- to use a poker analogy --  is a guy who's had his bluff called when he's short-stacked, and has but one option left: to go All In; he talked the talk, so the American people gave him an opportunity to walk the walk, and then it became apparent that Obama WAS, indeed, nothing but talk, and even then, he was given the benefit of the doubt seeing as how he was walking into a gigantic mess; maybe, some hoped, he would grow into the job?

No such luck. If anything, Barack Obama has shrunk while in the job, which is a pity almost beyond words. It was a task that he was not prepared for. Attempts to spin Obama's deer-in-the-headlights performance by resort to the well-worn political columnist's trick of "he's too smart for most people to understand", "he's too complex", "it's bad communications", "he's a deep thinker" are outright distortions of the truth, and that a newspaper columnist should have the audacity to promote such distortions as serious reportage/editorial is an absolute outrage.

Before firing Dana Millbank, his bosses should kick his ass for being a dipshit.

Dana Millbank's job is to present the facts; not trot out the shop-worn "He's too smart for us" bullshit in an attempt to explain away or paper over what is, already, a failed Presidency. We've been there and done that with other political figures; Hillary Clinton and Jimmy Carter, for example, and it wasn't true then, either. What makes anyone think the third time's a charm?

"American Islamophobia" Exists Only in Our "Elites"...

And in the strictest sense of the word, it best describes how frightened the so-called Elites are of excitable young men with a penchant for explosive underpants. They truly do, I think, fear Muslims to the point where they'd like to believe being the first to surrender will somehow save their lives, or maybe entitle them to some sort of "privileged" Dhimmitude status when Sharia is finally enacted on this side of the Atlantic.

Just a thought, but wouldn't it be great if every time a Mayor Bloomberg, or a Contessa Brewer (MSNBC anchor) opens their filthy, little pie holes to either assure everyone that the hastily-constructed, Rube-Goldberg-like pile of unexploded ordnance left on a busy city street probably belongs to an Obama-hating Klansman, or to cry that her greatest disappointment in life is that the latest Islamic would-be killer isn't a White Christian Hetero Male, I would suggest that we send the first to the front lines of Afghanistan (alas, our Mayor won't go of his own accord, since there's no Beluga in the standard MRE), and the other should be forced to wear a burkha with the words "Kick Me!" emblazoned on the back, and let loose in downtown Tehran.

Then we'd see if their attitudes and beliefs changed significantly for the experience. I rather doubt they would, if only because experience has convinced me that, sans a vaccine for Stupid, some people are simply unteachable.

Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano, our erstwhile "defenders", also suffer from this disease (symptoms: inability to identify the enemy, or face/tell the truth), only their brand of delusion goes much deeper because they imagine themselves to be more "Elite" than most. That's another symptom of the disease, you see. To prick their balloons of self-importance: Holder simply fills the PC-requirement that a "Person of Color" be head of the (in-)Justice Department, and Napolitano is the Token Butch-but-Irish-Setter-Stupid-Bull-Dyke that every democratic administration apparently must have. Nothing in that ridiculously short list of poliically-motivated qualifications says anything about competence and intelligence, assuming that anyone selected on that basis probably has none. Neither could defend a cookie jar from an attack by a determined 4-year-old, let alone defend a country against a determined enemy that they refuse to recognize.

We're fucked when our elected officials and members of the media are unwilling to tell the truth about either that which it is impossible to deny, or about their own motivations. Fortunately, these problems will soon be solved: Bloomberg's term will eventually expire, The Obama Administration will be sent packing after a single term, and MSNBC will soon be off the air due to lack of viewers.

"All Jihad is Local"...

Mark Steyn on American "leadership's" inablility to call Islamic Terrorism what it is.

Barack Obama, Eric Holder, Janet Napolitano, Micheal Bloomberg all went out of their way to persuade us that the Times Square Bomber was most likely a White Male Tea Party Dude. And then that this attempted bombing was an "isolated incident" without the least "connection to Islamic Terrorism". That was before Faisal Shahzad was identified as the owner of the car-bomb and arrested, after an Islamic Terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attempt, and 10 people are arrested in Pakistan in connection with it. We later learned that this "isolated extremist with no apparent ties to international terrorism" spent half the last year in Pakistan's notorious Northwest Frontier area, an Al'Qaeda and Taliban stronghold. And finally, they ensure us that "the System Worked"...after they've arrested a man on a No-Fly List on an airliner just minutes from take-off, who was only caught in the first place because he failed to detonate his bomb, leaving his car, house and getaway car keys and a ton of evidence behind -- and ultimately because two street vendors and three NYPD cops exercised some personal initiative and responsibility to avert disaster.

Not a single Federal Agent anywhere to be found when they might have been useful, which is before the attempt. Where this guy does come into contact with Federal Agencies, he manages a visa to enter the country, he managed to leave the country several times for months on end and his travel patterns evoke no curiosity, he wasn't identified, nor his travel scrutinized. He wasn't on the FBI's radar, nor the State Department's infamous "terror lists", nor were the TSA or ICE looking for him.

In fact, when Federal Agents were, belatedly, on his tail -- that is, in the hours after the failed bombing, his identification, and presumably when his name and address become known -- their surveilance fails them and they lost track of the guy for several hours, which is how he wound up on an Emirates flight out of JFK bound for Dubai, despite being on a "No-Fly" list.

You begin to wonder just what "System" was at work here. The ineffectual, inept, always-one-step-behind Federal System, or the System in which five individuals who obeyed the simple guidance of "If you See Something, Say Something" achieved a tangible result without scads of taxpayer money, and a alphabet soup of enforcement agencies? Five men see something, and they do what seems logical for them to do, given their experiences and training, and they save hundreds of lives. The Government sees the same situation...and starts looking for Angry White Males with Private Health Insurance. Presumably, I mean, who knows what they were doing and thinking? . Yes, I understand that you follow all leads, but do you have to go on television and make such stupid, and false, pronouncements which are based on ignorance and politics? Shouldn't you be obliged to apologize for being a douchebag and an asshole, afterwards?

I think the people who talk and think this way, people who skip around the truth of Islam being an ideology for violent retards, is that the truth is too frightening to admit from the standpoint of not matching their Kumbaya vision of the world. This willful blindness ensures that more Americans are going to be killed, and it's perhaps the main reason why we declare a War on Terrorism that now requires "Enemy Combatants" be given Constitutional Rights, and not made uncomfortable by the conditions of their interrogations and trials, and that soldiers sent to engage the enemies of this nation be given medals for NOT shooting at said enemy.

These policies are wrong. These attitudes are deadly. The inability to face the truth gets people killed, and when you scream "Islam is a religion of peace!, you only encourage more Islamic douchebags with an explosives fetish. How many more people have to die before the people who "lead" us finally wake up to the reality of what we're facing? When when people stop getting on television in the course of a state of emergency and talking out of both sides of their mouth and rectum, simultaneously? People like that become part of the problem, not the solution.

Eric and Janet; Not of This Earth...

I'm rather puzzled by the attitudes of Attorney General Eric Holder, and Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano about the federal role in the capture of the Times Square bomber. They seem to think they have achieved some major victory in the War Against Man-Made Disasters because agents of the Border Patrol and Immigration services caught up to the alleged-bomber while his plane was sitting at the gate at John F. Kennedy Airport.

We have a man who has been identified -- probably within 24 hours of the event -- as a "person of interest" in a supposed terror bombing plot. His identity is known, and we might presume that the cops had his picture and some vital information on him by that time, too. Every law enforcement officer in America is looking for this guy, but he still manages to:

*Drive into JFK Airport
* Get past the layers and layers of supposed "Security" within the Airport
* Buy a ticket with cash (I thought that was a Red Flag?)
* Get past the TSA at the gate (I wonder if he had to at least take his shoes off for them?).
* Get past the Customs and Immigration folks at he gate since he's boarding an international flight
* Board the aircraft.

Two days after the event, the Federal Authorities are only aware they guy is not supposed to be on a plane as he's leaving.

Even the fact that the suspect was on a no-fly list two days ago wasn't even known until the plane was -- literally -- about to leave. How did this guy get into an airport with every Federal Agent on the Eastern Seaboard looking for him?

Yes, Homeland Security managed to get their man (allegedly), but it was a by-the-skin-of-their-teeth sort of thing. Holder and Napolitano would have you think, however, the system worked flawlessly. Mind you, they want you to think the system worked flawlessly with the recent Gulf Oil Spill, the Hutaree Militia Trial (which appears to be a bust based on bad evidence and political factors), and the Pantybomber fiasco. I notice that Holder made a fetish of maintaining that this suspect wasn't read his Miranda Rights immediately, unlike the Underwear Bomber.

Yeah, that makes me feel better.

Even more, this episode gives some awful insights into how Homeland Security works.

In her speech, Napolitano thanked:

* Immigration and Border Patrol
* Transportation Security Agency
* Federal Bureau of Investigation
* The Department of Homeland Security

...and probably at least two more fed agencies I didn't catch. And with all this Federal Expertise, Technology and Manpower available, just HOW was anyone put onto this guy in the first place?

Two street vendors saw a car on fire and told the cops. Two civilians and three city cops probably saved hundreds of lives acting upon their own initiative, while all those federal agencies and the shitload of money spent on Homeland Security almost saw the suspect winging his way back to the Middle East.

I sure hope this guy had the audacity to use the toilet and ask for a blanket before he was arrested, just so he can be charged with the "crimes" the government invented to cover it's ass after the last terrorist-on-a-plane fiasco.

Eric and Janet shouldn't be so quick to congratulate themselves. In the last two major incidents of terrorism, the suspects were quickly captured and the plots "foiled" because a) private citizens got involved -- at risk to their own lives -- and did the right thing, and b) the terrorists were fuck ups who couldn't detonate their explosives properly.

Neither of these cases (Pantybomber, or the Times Square Bomber) is an indicator of Federal efficiency on the terrorism front. It just so happened that in these two cases, we had the right combiantion of non-Federal factors fall into place to make them slam-dunks. And for all that, this time the guy still almost got away because the Feds almost let him.

If This is How Eric Holder Will Prosecute Terrorists...

I wouldn't be surprised if most of them were walking the streets, just after lunchtime, on the same their trials start.

Oh, wait! I forgot; to a Libtard all Muslims are automatically innocent, and it's the presence of Rich White Men that makes people want to kill us. Why, they'd probably be free after morning coffee in that case! Anyways, read this and then wonder about what sort of resources the FBI is devoting to the problem of "domestic terrorism" (i.e. White folks getting uppity) -- and start wondering, once again, if the best and brightest are truly in charge, and really concerned with our safety and defense.

Now, I'd like to be fair to Agent Larsen, because she might be a perfectly nice lady, and I don't know her personally. But assuming that story has reasonably accurate quotes in it, and bears a decent-enough resemblance to a near-approximation of the flow of events as they happened, you have to shake your head in disbelief, and wonder if:

Agent Larsen isn't the worst FBI agent in all of America.

* Agent Larsen might have been slightly zonked on Cold Medicine, and might not really responsible for her unpreparedness.

* Agent Larsen is on the Ethereal Plane, not Planet Earth.

* Agent Larsen actually gives a shit.

* Agent Larsen might be one of those Affirmative-Action cases promoted to a grade way over head, overwhelmed by the details and procedures applicable to the preparation and presentation of evidence in a criminal proceeding.

* Agent Larsen has no real evidence against anyone.

Your guess is as good as mine.

Could it be all five? Just might. No where is it graven in stone that every FBI agent is a true professional, and that just because someone's been hauled to court that the evidence against them must be rock-solid and beyond reproach. But an even more pertinent question would be:

Might we assume that the Fed'ral Gub'mint has little-to-absolutely-no case whatsoever against the members of the Hutaree Militia, but they were arrested and charged anyway because the Obama Administration needed some White Supremacist Boogeymen to try and smear the Tea Party -- and a way to equate The Tea Party with the Jackbooted Homophobic Right-wing Christian Racist Militias they're convinced are right now plotting the assassination Barack Hussein Obama?

It's not totally unknown for the Government to drag people into courts on trumped up charges they know they can't possibly prove, just to make a political statement. If I were a judge and one of the investigating officers (that the prosecutors tried to make her unavailable as a witness speaks volumes) upon whose evidence the guilt or innocence of nine people depended upon, can't remember details of the case or seems to be off on Mars, then I'd start to wonder about the motivation behind the charges myself.

The Real Enemy is In Congress, Not Afghanistan...

Dem lawmakers tried to sneak a provision in that would have punished CIA interrogators yesterday. You can read about it here and here.

I'm especially interested in this quote, from Rep. Pete Hoekstra:

"That Democrats would try to bury this provision deep in the bill, late at night, when they thought everyone's attention would be focused on the health care summit is a testament to the shameful nature of what they were attempting."

This is par for the course, Congressman. This is what democrats always do; they sneak things in behind closed doors in the dark of night, because when the public actually knows what they're trying to do, there is usually a thunderous uproar.

Judging from the level of ideological fervor some lefties have for hanging every CIA agent that ever gave a cross look to a terrorist, don't be too sure that Healthcare Summit wasn't the real distraction so that they could try this stunt.

It's Crowded Under the Obama Bus...

Word is that Eric Holder, the Attorney General of the United States, is in deep doo-doo.

As if refusing to treat terrorists like prisoners of war, or harboring Justice Department lawyers who once defended terrorists, or even accusing his own country of racism weren't enough, we are now learning that Mr. Holder runs his little judicial fief as if the people of this country, and his boss the President, don't exist. At least, that's the narrative the Obama Administration is starting to put out.

How else to explain his reasons as to why the Underwear Bomber was Mirandized within an hour? Why CIA Agents and Navy SEALS are legally harassed for doing their duty to their country? Why Black Panthers who stand armed vigil outside polling places for the purposes of intimidation aren't prosecuted, and why Congress has to repeatedly ask Holder the same questions that he apparently refuses to answer?

The rumblings are starting; "Eric Holder Must Go."

Just like Reverend Wright had to go. Just like Michelle had to be taken out of the public spotlight. Holder might soon be lifted clean out of the public view in the dark of night like Van Jones. You make Barry look bad, you threaten his approval ratings, you garner criticism from the Right and Bill O'Reilly, and you get run over.

When Bill Clinton had to get rid of inconvenient political liabilities they usually turned up dead, like Vince Foster, leading some people to use the term "Arkancide" for any Friend of Bill who fell out of favor and threatened his public image and political fortunes. By the last count that I'm aware of (and I'll admit, I have no evidence except what's been written on the Internet, so take that for what it's worth!), I think it's something like 56 people personally associated with Bill or Hillary, or their alleged underhanded-dealings who have died. Most under bizarre or questionable circumstances, either during their reign as Redneck King and Queen of Dogpatch (Arkansas), or as Co-Presidents of the United States. I don't mean to imply that Clinton had them killed (that he gave an order, that he assassinated then, nor to imply any overt action by the former President and his Trained Walrus with a Wal-Mart wedding ring), just that these folks died, and usually after they had been associated with some sort of scandal involving the President. Fifty-six people is an awful lot of coincidences, though, isn't it?

I wonder what you call it when you're about to be, symbolically, murdered by a Chicago Community Organizer? Send your suggestions for this new political term to the e-mail address above!

In any case, you wonder what runs through Eric Holder's head, and then you wonder how much of what Holder does (or rather, doesn't do) accurately reflects the orders he gets from his Boss? Does Holder really believe that the law-enforcement model of anti-terrorism works (despite evidence to the contrary that it doesn't), or is he simply "following orders", which, when that course of action becomes politically suspect, he must suffer the penalties for in order that Obama keep his skirts nice and clean? Stalin used to do that too, I hear.

Either way, someone has to go. It appears that Eric Holder is about to get sacrificed so that Barack Obama may maintain the illusion that he, ultimately, isn't responsible (have you ever met a man with so much responsibility who is ultimately so un-responsible, and perhaps, irresponsible?). A rogue Attorney General reigned in by a President who needed to 'pivot'...that'll be Eric Holder's political epithet.

Then he can go back to the lucrative terrorist defense attorney trade. It's what he was doing before he got this job, I think.

As an aside, there is an implication that Lindsey Graham, the annoying Senator from South Carolina, needs Holder's pelt as political cover to help Obama close Guantanamo Bay. If this is so, then Lindsey Graham is an asshole who should be voted out of office as quickly as possible. He obviously doesn't have the country's best interests at heart if he's willing to do something like that.

South Carolina Tea Partiers: you may have to find a candidate to run against Lindsey Graham. Think about it.

Why Have a Trial At All...

Even Napoleon had to retreat every once in a while, too.

The Obama administration has ordered the Justice Department to find someplace else to try Khalid Sheik Mohammed, and the rest of his camel-fucking terrorist scumbag cohorts. There will be no trial in New York City, something KSM and his prison sex partners should be very thankful for: they would not have survived a trial here in New York City. No matter how many cops you put out there, the entire city would have descended upon the courthouse and probably lynched the bastards on the spot.

You see, unlike Barack Obama and Eric Holder, we New Yorkers haven't forgotten what happened on September 11th. We can't; there's a 19 acre hole in the ground in Lower Manhattan that keeps reminding us. Some of the victim's families still have nothing of their loved ones to bury. There are no fewer than 12 streets within walking distance of my house that were renamed for dead firefighters, cops and secretaries, all killed on 9/11. We're harangued daily by subway and ferry announcements about unattended packages and evacuation procedures. It may have been nine years ago to everyone else, but it's still just yesterday to us. We can't forget it because life will never be the same for any of us...ever.

Personally, I don't see the need for a trial at all. The man is a terrorist; he has admitted to being one, he has confessed his crimes and spilled the beans on his colleagues. There is no doubt about guilt or innocence here. Save everyone a lot of trouble (including the poor town or city you finally inflict this piece of shit on), not to mention millions in security costs, and do what I have advocated for years:

Hang these bastards from crosses constructed from World Trade Center steel. Charge every New Yorker $1 a head to get one shot at these scumbags with the wooden bludgeon of their choice. Let them be beaten to death, and after they have shuffled off this mortal coil, let them be hacked to pieces. Scoop the pieces up and get half-a-dozen Hasidic rabbis to piss on them. Liberally pour bacon grease on the urine-soaked body parts and set it aflame. Sell the ashes to the highest bidder to be used as an additive to kitty litter. Put the whole thing on Pay-per-View (you could give the proceeds to charity) not just for our entertainment and satisfaction, but to send a message to every other goatfucker with a bomb, jonesing for 72 virgins in a cave somewhere; Don't fuck with us.

Don't You Know There's a War On?

Apparently, the Obama Administration does not.

Today, another bunch of Congresscritters will hold yet another hearing on the problem of terrorism. I'm wondering when they'll get around to demanding that Attorney General Holder answer the question he left hanging at the last round of Congressional Hearings: How many lawyers at the Justice Department once represented terrorists? And when will they be fired? Oh yeah, and how many more of these ultimately-pointless hearings will we have to endure? These Congresscritters yack and question, the witnesses dodge questions and provide a lot of hot air, and then nothing ever gets done. But I digress...

The purpose of this hearing, we're told, is to question the response and activities of the Obama Administration in the wake of the attempted Underwear Bomber attack on Christmas Day. Some Congressional republicans are worried that the Obamatards are so concerned with providing terrorists with rights and attorneys that they may be missing the bigger picture; terrorism isn't a law-enforcement problem. That attitude, the presumption that terrorists should be brought to public trial under civilian rules of evidence, is what brought us 9/11 in the first place!

It appears that this President and his National Security apparatus intend to continue to fight Terrorism with the Cops-and-Robbers approach which manages to throw ever-more layers of law-enforcement at the issue until they all begin to trip over each other's feet. Eventually, you get enough law-enforcers with different aims, jurisdictions, missions and concerns, and the whole thing gets FUBAR'ed in a mass of legal red tape which ensures that even if you get these terrorists before a judge, it has taken years and cost millions and some (if not much) of the evidence against them is subject to continual legal challenge. It's better to just ship these guys right off to Gitmo and let them have a good-old-fashioned military tribunal, like the sort Congress has already approved...twice.

But that might mean that Mr. Holder's buddies in the legal profession might not get federal funds for defending terrorists, and it would also mean that he'd (probably) have to fire half the lawyers in the Justice Department who once defended terrorists on the federal dime.

I still say a carefully-planned program that kills enough Muslims in the most gruesome and painful ways we can devise until they're either all dead or give up the hope that terrorism will achieve their goals is the way to go, but what the hell do I know? I'm just some dope with a website, not the Attorney General or President of the United States.

UPDATE: Some word on a new terror threat, this time by a lone gunman in New Jersey. The man was armed with a grenade launcher (where the fuck do you get one of those?), some high-powered weapons, a ton of ammo and a map of a military base. I just love the way CNN waited until the very last paragraph to include this gem:

"...Officers searched Woodson's hotel room and found another assault rifle, a grenade launcher, a police scanner, another bulletproof vest, a map of a U.S. military base, hundreds of rounds of ammunition and a Middle Eastern-style headdress, the statement said.."

Middle Eastern-style? You be the judge.

Also, Newzweak is reporting that nine years after 9/11, the government has still done next to nothing to defend this country against terrorists armed with WMD's. Probably because 90% of the democrats that have been in office since 9/11 still believe that WMD's are some figment of Dick Cheney's fevered imagination, dreamed up to give Shrubby McBushHitler an excuse to invade the peaceful country of Iraq, so he could kill brown people. Considering they haven't done much to stop terrorists with bombs in their jock straps, and put another through Medical School and then onto the Army's payroll, I'm not surprised. The mid-terms cannot come soon enough.

The System Worked, Part VI...

Some dipshit tried to open the door of plane --at altitude -- requiring a flight to be diverted. The passengers managed to gather together and eventually subdue the idiot, but this is beginning to become a recurring scenario. There are far too many people in the air these days who seem to have a death wish or no self-control.

Besides terrorists, you now have to worry about drunks. People who have just had a bad day. People with no control over their temper or faculties. The really telling thing is, that usually, there's little or no warning that there's going to be trouble. You can profile a terrorist, and you can predict their behaviors and actions, to a certain extent, but how do you defend an aircraft against the passenger in coach who's pissed because he didn't get his complimentary half-can of Coke, and who decides to express his out-of-proportion anger by opening the cabin door at 35,000 feet?

At first, I thought this might be a terrorist attack or something along those lines, because the first report I read (The Washington Post) carefully took pains not to identify the attacker by name, nationality, race, religion or ethnicity. Knowing, to a certain extent how the media typically covers these things, I thought "must be a Muslim" right away, because experience tells that if he was a Heterosexual- Middle-Class-White-Christian-Male, the Post would have quickly published a photo, his name and address, talked to half his neighbors and employer, identified his wife and kids, and then implied some sort of ties to a bizarre White-Supremacist-Pat Robertson-Branch Davidian-Klan-inspired-Doomsday-Cult terror plot, all within 10 minutes.

Because only white, Bible-Thumpin' rednecks can be terrorists, you know...

But credit to the Post, they did no such thing. You know others would have.

Anyways, it turns out the guy apparently is white, and there's even a photo. You can see it here, along with another report on the incident.

But, this brings us back, once again, to the issue of security in airports and airliners. Once again, it is the passengers who have to risk life and limb to prevent a tragedy. I'm not saying that anyone is supposed to be psychic and somehow "know" when some lone lunatic is going to pull a stunt like this, but sheesh, I wonder if there wasn't some sort of warning sign when this guy was still on the ground that someone just didn't pick up on?

The airline industry is slowly being destroyed, one incident (terror-related or not) at at time.

In the meantime, The Post also begins to ask if the Obama Administration's obsession with civilian criminal trials for terrorists means they're missing the forest for the trees.

But, perhaps that's just the obvious result of having a Justice Department stocked with lawyers who used to defend terrorists for a living...?

The System Worked, Part V...

Unless, you're called before Congress to explain why it didn't.

You know, I'm so glad we have these idiots in control of the TSA, the FBI and CIA. I'm glad that we have things like the High-Value Detainee Interrogation Group (that doesn't get used), and crappy software designed by those who bid the lowest but had the best political connections. I'm so happy I could drop a log at the fact that after 9 years we're not only forgetting the lessons of 9/11, but we're ignoring the ones we've learned since, while pouring billions of increasingly-scarce taxpayer dollars into a federal sinkhole that doesn't do what it's designed to do: catch terrorists.

But then again, it's representative of what has been done in much of this so-called War on Terror.

The DHS and it's affiliates don't capture terrorists, and the soldiers we sent overseas don't capture them either. No one is actually fighting a war "over there". If they were, millions of Muslims (may of them potential terrorists) would be dead, and those that survived would be sufficiently cowed so as to never even think of taking up arms against the United States ever again. Instead, we're spending billions to rebuild Iraq (a country we largely destroyed in the first place), and billions more to nudge Afghanistan forward... into the Mud Age, probably so that IBM, Mary Kay and Dodge can sell them laptops, lipstick and overpriced pick-ups when the conflict is over. These are people who don't understand the basic concepts of personal hygiene, yet someone has decided they'll make a wonderful consumer class one day. A few Muslims terrorists get a drone-fired missile up the Nether regions, but many more roam the landscape freely planting IED's which kill and cripple our troops...who aren't allowed to fight back except under increasingly stringent and legalistic rules of engagement.

And when it's all said and done, what do we have to show for it?

Democracy in the Middle East? Don't be stupid. An end to terrorism? It only ends when terrorists and the people who support them are dead, and not enough people are dead yet to make terrorism an unattractive option. Right now, terrorism pays -- just ask Hamas. Myriad opportunities for Congress to engage in graft with taxpayer money in the name of 'defending' the American people?

BINGO!

Because if there wasn't graft or politics involved in the process of both war and airport security, a) the war would have been won, with the Middle Eastern nations bowing before America, falling all over themselves to pay us tribute, and keeping their violent retards under wraps, b) you'd be able to take a flight from Birmingham to Albuquerque without having to spend an extra four hours at the airport getting undressed, x-rayed, interrogated, herded like cattle, drinking your own breast milk, while having to pack even less luggage in see-through bags for your little adventure than Bear Grylls or Les Stroud does.

It wouldn't cost twice as much, be such a headache, and you'd even be able to get a meal and use the toilet on the flight. It might actually even be a reasonably-bearable experience without all the extra-normal bullshit demanded by a security system furnished at the expense in time, money and sanity of the law-abiding, but which gives those with ill intent with a distinct advantage: no one wishes to offend the would-be murderers amongst us. The System is full of built-in loopholes, and administrated by mouth-breathing government types with little-to-no motivation to actually succeed at anything, let alone their primary mission.

We could be dead, but they'll still have their jobs in the aftermath.

This kind of thing ought to scare the fertilizer out of you.

Draining The Swamp...

Just a quick list of democratic "lawmakers" and officials who have wound up on the wrong side of an ethics investigation, or who have some dubious qualifications for office, who best represent the graft that Nancy Pelosi said she would clean up. In no particular order, I give you the Most Ethical and Transparent Government EVAH:

Secretary of the Treasury, Tim Geithner - Tax cheat who didn't even pay his taxes when his employer gave him the money and instructions to do so! Crony capitalist who orchestrated the TARP fiasco, who is now accused of helping AIG hide losses from government regulators. Geithner is at the heart of all things Wall Street bailout-related because of his former job as chief of the NY Fed, but it also seems that Geithner has been in bed with many of the major players at AIG, Citi, JP Morgan, and Goldman Sachs, amongst others. He won't come clean, and he won't resign, and the taxpayer is on the hook for $750 billion that went to his cronies. By the way; Geithner was allowed to pay his unpaid taxes without fines or penalty. Why don't you try to get that sort of deal from the IRS?

Secretary of Labor, Hilda Solis - another tax cheat. Solis "forgot" to pay taxes...four times. Even when the IRS "reminded" her to pay them. Four times. Solis was also "permitted" to pay the back taxes she owed (four times) without a fine or penalty, and nary a word said in public. Once again, I invite you to try the IRS on that sort of thing and see if they don't fine you within an inch of your life.

Attorney General, Eric Holder - the man who accused America of cowardice for it's inability to deal with the subject of race (hey, the Klan knew how to deal with the subject of race. Would you prefer we went back to those days, Mr. AG? I think we're doing rather better than that, no thanks to people like you), wants to give terrorists the same rights as any other criminal defendant in our civilian courts. Recently, questions have been raised about his motivations, as it appears the AG may have a conflict of interest in this sort of thing; a law firm he worked for before becoming the AG has defended several terrorists in U.S. civilian and military trials already, garnering a lot of government cash in the process, probably. Mr. Holder himself is yet to be accused of anything, hell, when he appears in front of Congress he apears to not know anything -- at all -- but he may want to rethink that whole "try the Undibombers in the Public Square" thing.

Rep. Barney Frank (Homo - Massachusetts) - Co-Orchestrator of the looming Fannie/Freddie collapse, proponent of the massive 'Stimulus' boondoggle that will cost more than expected and do less than advertised. Barney Fwank was diddling one of Fannie or Freddie's (I forget which) chief executives, who was possibly using his romantic influence with the Representative to keep regulators and reformers away from his agency. Barney stood in the path of reform no fewer than seven times. He never reported his conflict of interest, i.e. fucking one of the executives of an agency he was supposed to be regulating. Barney is also a classic example of why some people in this country continue to call for the stoning of gays in the public square; he is one of the most insufferable human beings alive (Michelle Obama is a distant second). There has been no ethic investigation of Barney's behavior whatsoever.

Sen. Chris Dodd (Dipshit - Connecticut) - Another of the Wall Street defenders, Dodd also had as many fingers (figuratively-speaking) in Fannie (not someones actual Fannie, we mean Fannie Mae, the mortgage thingy. Dodd, so far as we know, isn't quite as gay as Barney Frank). He's up to his neck in mortgage scandal money, having received two "sweetheart" mortgage deals from Angelo Mozillo, former CEO fo Nationwide, which is now defunct. Dodd's fingerprints are all over the AIG mess, and he slipped a provision into a bill int he middle of the night to allow AIG to pay huge bonuses to dipshit executives with Taxpayer money. Dodd's only saving grace was that he's finally resigned, given the reality inevitable loss in the mid-terms. The ethics investigation done on Dodd was a model of speed, efficiency and whitewash, which went by so fast and touched him so lightly that it just might as well have never happened. He can now retire to that Irish "cottage" of his, and hopefully, he will never contaminate these shores again. Oh, and Senator? We're still waiting for the documents!

Sen. Mary Landrieu (Thief - Louisiana) - The recipient of the Famous "Louisiana Purchase", and we don't mean the land deal that Jefferson swung on the French and which led to the exploits of Lewis and Clark. No, we're talking the $300 million dollars Harry Reid promised Mary for her "yea" vote on Healthcare. The stink of this one is that it wasn't even hidden; it happened in broad daylight, on the senate floor, and was being reported on by the cable networks before the proposition was even complete. To date, Landrieu hasn't even expressed a shred of remorse or shame over her actions, and says even less than the statue of Lincoln at the memorial.

Sen. Ben Nelson (Dickhead - Nebraska) - Recipient of another infamous bribe, the "Cornhusker Kickback", in which his state of Nebraska would essentially get Medicare for all eternity at the expense of the other 49 states. Fortunately for us, the people of Nebraska have some sense of propriety and fair-play, and howled so loudly that Nelson began to backtrack even before the ink was dry on that Harry Reid promise (bribe). Now Nelson is in danger of being voted out of office, and plenty panicked about his future. I would suggest he start acquiring a taste for orange jumpsuits, since accepting a bribe for a vote is supposed to be a crime in this country. Unfortunately, he'll wriggle free of this one.

Rep. Charlie Rangel (Hemmorhoid - New York) - the Man who runs the Ways and Means Committee in the House, which writes the very tax laws you struggle with every year, apparently doesn't know, or even bother to follow them, himself. He even said as much, claiming the tax code (which he helped construct) is so complex that even he doesn't know what's in it. When Charlie isn't hiding scads of income like $75,000 in rent from his overseas hideaway, four rent-controlled apartments, illegal deductions for using those apartments for campaign purposes, and accepting all sorts of illegal donations in return for his help in getting some asshole's name on a university building or something, he's busy spending your money faster than the government can collect it, and then even faster than it can borrow it from China. Oh, btw, Charlie was allowed to pay his back taxes without interest or penalty attached. It seems the IRS is in a forgiving mood these days, perhaps I shall give them a miss this year?

Rep. John Murtha (Windbag - Pennsylvania) - Murtha has been up to his ass in scandal since ABSCAM in the mid-70's. He's been up to his neck in shady defense-contractor dealings practically forever, and he's been the recipient of more campaign contributions from defense contractors than any other member of Congress. Yet, this is the man who has denigrated US troops in Afghanistan and Iraq since the beginning of those wars, even going as far as to compare them to the Nazis. He should be shot just for treason just on that basis alone, but instead, the idiots in Pennsylvania (the so-called Bitter Clingers) sent this liberal piece of shit thief back Congress. There has still been no investigation of Murtha's alleged crimes, but Pelosi bent over backwards and practically blew every member of the Ethics Committee in order to nail Randall "Duke" Cunningham on his shady shenanigans with defense contractors. The pot calls the kettle black, methinks.

I know I'm forgetting more of the democratic rogues gallery, like Dorgan, Ackerman, Jefferson, the SEIU, ACORN amongst others. But you get the point.

The rallying cry of the last mid-term election cycle for democrats was the "culture of corruption" that surrounded republicans, with their associations with Jack Abramoff, the Cunningham scnadal, and the "indiscretions" of Senator Craig and Congressmen Foley (both of which involved allegations of inappropriate gay sex, which apparently no one can be bothered to act shocked at when Barney Frank is involved), whom they also used to tar "family-oriented" republicans with the label "hypocrite". Nancy Pelosi, upon her coronation which had all the splendor of Elvis Vegas show but none of the charm, claimed she would "drain the swamp" of Washington, and then Barack Obama came along and cried "transparency on C-Span" (a trick which Bill Clinton once used, too). Somewhere between "Drain the Swamp" and "Hope n' stuff", they've lost their way.

That's if they ever meant any of it in the first place.

Update: I must not have had enough coffee at the time, but I almost forgot: the democratic Secretary of State of Taxachsetts is threatening to delay the certification of Scott Brown, a republican running in a special election for the Senate Seat formerly occupied by the enormous-drunken-alleged-rapist-alleged-manslaughtering-cancer-couldn't-have-happened-to-a-nicer-guy Ted Kennedy, should he win, just so that the dems could keep their 60-vote majority to pass "Healthcare Reform Legislation". This, incidentally, was announced PUBLICLY. They don't even bother to hide conspiracy anymore.

A New Year's Resolution...

Judicial Watch lists the 10 most corrupt politicians of 2009. I wonder how many are up for re-election in 2010 and 2012?

Can we make a resolution, one and all, that when these criminals come up for re-election, that none of them gets your vote?

The country needs to be saved by us, the citizens, exercising common sense and good judgement because our so-called "leaders" are devoid of either. Make these your priorities in the coming mid-term elections:

1. Re-establish the power of The Governed over The Government,
2. Say NO to graft, dishonesty, and stupidity.
3. Hold President Obama and Nancy Pelosi to their pledges on Transparency and Ethics. We want all bills on the Internet five days before any voting takes place, we want to know what gets said in closed-door ethics hearings, we want up-and-down votes when called for, we want debates --we have the right to know what you're doing before you do it.
4. Say NO to a government take-over of 1/6 of the US Economy with a policy crafted in the Senate Men's Room in the dark of night. We want the government out of our financial institutions and GM, as soon as possible. No more bailouts, ever.
5. Pray for and support our troops, urge our leadership to fight the Islamonazis, and bring them all home victorious and safe.
6. Put Chris Dodd and Charlie Rangel in prison, where they belong, Tar-and-feather Barney Frank (he might enjoy certain jailhouse activities a just a wee too much), chip in to buy John Kerry a personality, please give to the John Ensign I-Can't-Stop-Cheating-On-My-Wife-Fund -- he has an ex-paramour to bribe into silence.
7. Demand lower taxes and less government interference in your personal lives.
8. Keeps your eyes and ears open for Muslims Terrorists, since Homeland Security ain't.
9. Dispel the rumor that a Congresscritter can go through life anonymously -- keep in touch with your Congressional Delegates and let them know you care, you're watching -- you pay taxes and you vote.
10. Find like-minded people, form your own Tea Parties, and get involved in discussions of local politics and political action. Don't wait for the Republican or Democratic Party to do anything for you, because they won't if they believe they can get away with it. Make yourself heard, and your presence felt.
